Cinnamood - A long counter of different flavor cinnamon rolls

Honestly very underwhelmed. I love a good cinnamon roll and was excited for this place. However we…read morebranched out from the traditional and tried a raspberry type roll and while the raspberry on top was tart, the roll itself was very dry. Would love to have had a great roll but maybe ours had sat out too long.

The little shop had a short line that went quickly when I stopped by around 3pm. They have drinks too but I was there for the sweets! The variety of flavors were so fun to look at, ranging from the classic cinnamon roll to the fruity berry flavors and indulgent ones like cookie dough or red velvet. They cost just under 5 Euros each. Be sure to grab some napkins, because they are soooo sticky! ** Pistachio: the bread was really soft and gooey (not just the middle part, but all of it!). Definitely on the sweet side, but the dollop of pistachio cream didn't put it over the top. So pretty and also tasty. ** Speculoos: I love everything cookie butter, but this one wasn't as good as the Pistachio for me; somehow the cookie butter overpowered everything, but the flavor itself didn't taste as aromatic/spiced as the Biscoff version I am used to. Still tasty but wished I picked another to try! The bread was still very soft and tender. Service was quick and friendly. There were a few honeybees hovering and landing on the rolls, but no one seemed to mind too much. There's a teeny tiny seating area in the shop that might just be for quick pictures, but there are public seats in the plaza outside. I would totally come back without hesitation if I'm in the area... check them out :) I'm super pulled to try some trendy cinnamon roll shops in New York now!

We had a late dinner here after returning from our day trip to Nuremberg. It was about 9:30pm, so…read moreeveryone was there having a drink and a great old time. We waited a bit outside - maybe about 15 minutes before we were given a table. Our waitress was great, but it was very obvious that they had a lot of tables to take care of in the extremely giant beer hall. If you need anything after you order and in between getting your food and paying, you'll need to wait a while. That being said, I think we're just used to extremely fast service in NYC. I had the Pork knuckle which was a whole roasted pork knuckle with home-made dark beer sauce and potato dumpling. We also had the Crispy roast pork with home-made dark beer sauce and potato dumpling. Both were excellent and the beer was also quite good. I had their signature wheat beer and then an Oktoberfest beer (because why not) and really enjoyed it. I do think I liked their signature wheat beer better, and would've gotten another one of those over the Oktoberfest one.

We got right in after maybe a 5 min wait and we were seated quickly tomorrow private table upstairs. There were 5 of us so it was very spacious and not too loud. We enjoyed beer and wine first and then we enjoyed several dishes that are in the pictures here. All were very good as most food in Munich at these restaurants is. Our server was very polite and she took our orders and suggested some items as well. Food came without too much delay and was very tasty. We stayed and enjoyed for at least 2 hours then back to the festivities once they cleared the bomb threat and started letting everyone back in. If you're in Munich for any reason - Schneider is a great place for some beer, wine and german food! Keep Munching!

The Alice in Wonderland theme is interesting with mushroom painted tables, cheshire cat decor, etc. Service isn't the friendliest unless you ask specifically for guidance. Our server didn't explain any of the flavours but we heard another server go through everything with a different group. There were 18 flavours to choose from (all labelled in German). Prices are €1,80 single, €3,50 double, €5,00 triple and €6,50 quadruple. Cones are €1,00 extra. They also have drinks but I didn't see a single person order them. - Double scoop (€3,50) - we went with apfelpfannkuchen (apple pancake) and erdbeer kalamansi (strawberry and kalamansi). For our free taster, we chose the Augustine's hell (their beer flavour) which was better than expected. The kalamansi was tart and tangy. I'm surprised they had it as you don't see kalamansi often. The apple pancakes was just as described. Will satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth. Cash only. 3.5 stars.

Prices are probably a little high but still acceptable (three scoops in a cup for €4.50). It is nice that they give an "extra-flavor" on the spoon in addition to your choice. It is a good way to try some other risky flavor. Staff is friendly and the service is quick, which is good considering the long line you may have to do. Bring cash since they don't take cards.
