(Although admittedly, those are pretty good too....no harm, no foul......they just aren't really what linzer tortes really are.) Anyhow, it's a busy little shop and we had a private section upstairs to enjoy our coffee. Our guide told us to put the little chocolate in the coffee too. The pastries are all prepared fresh daily! They open at 8:30 so you can come by for a great breakfast of meat and bread/rolls or you can skip straight to a piece of Sacher or a cream Schnitte! Their prices are reasonable, especially considering it's location in a very popular part of old town Wels. The staff is friendly and more than willing to assist us with our broken German and their really good English so that's a huge plus! Judging from the speed she devoured those, they must have been really good also... So good she refused to share even one bite. Grrr. Of course we each had a slice of their cakes.
