The matcha they had was good and they have different milk options They also give you free water bottles. I got the avocado toast with no egg and no ham and no sauce and it made me full in a good way . Would come back again to this cafe in TJ.

Cafè de La Flor is an infallible spot for good food, decadent desserts, and outstanding service…read more My mom and I came here for lunch and ordered passionfruit-lemonade to start off, which was refreshing and tasty. She had the flautas dish (came with red rice and refried beans) and I had the panini de pechuga de pollo (grilled chicken breast) with french fries. Both dishes were delicious and came with generous portions. I liked how my panini sandwich came with pickled jalapeños. The dessert list is ample, however, we always go for the cheesecakes since they are what the cafè is well-known for. This time, there wasn't many to choose from but I am happy they still had my favorite available - the guava cheesecake. On other occassions, they'd have a more ample selection of cheesecake flavors to choose from, like oreo, caramel, or other fruit flavors. Lastly, want to give a shout out to our server Juan Carlos. Very attentive, quick, and polite. Everyone was courteous and provided an excellent customer experience.

This used to be an Oaxacan restaurant in the early 2000s…read more The food was tasty but the portions very small, perhaps because I was a guest at a private event? I had the bistec ranchero, a Coke and a cafe de olla and the total amount was $300 pesos, dessert was included. A homemade cheesecake. There are baskets of mini panes de dulce in each table. Very savory. A happy afternoon meal was had by all. Minor complaint was the lack of attention of some of the servers, we had to summon them several times to get us more drinks. It's a cute restaurant, on a small storefront. Very close to the Otay Mesa border closer. Beware that this is not San Ysidro so the lack of transportation is evident both to and from. I walked on both directions to get to El BisKet. It's about 2.5 miles from the border crossing.
