Oh, gawd. I'm so conflicted. Where to begin? This is an out-of-the-way truck stop/cafe with naked dancing chicks. It's brightly lit, and the jukebox music the gals dance to is patron-fed so expect a few long pauses and everything coming to a screeching stop when enough songs aren't bought. I can't recommend the food since I didn't buy any, but my clothes smelled like diner steak & eggs when I went home. Nasty. Nasty. Nasty. Instantly washed the things I wore. Alright, the dancers. We're all flowers, so I'll try to be delicate. Most were large, a few were mothers of more than two children, and they seem to have all been practicing their Kegel exercises together. One of the waitresses was obviously meth'd out but she still managed to bring me bottled water in a timely fashion. I enjoy talking, and to whomever - these gals had interesting stories and all what you would guess them to be. Here's my conflict. Technically, this place should get zero stars as a whole, but I believe it should get 10 stars if someone said this place would be part of a trucker museum. Two stars is arbitrary. It should never go away, and should be kept as an oddity, or as a piece of Americana. In all my years, I've never seen anything like this anywhere in the world. As a keepsake, I bought my friend a button that says "I give private dances", and he wears it to work. Don't ask. Will I go back? No. Well, maybe if a daring friend who needs me as an excuse to go there asks me to. But, if you're reading a strip-club review, it means that you should go. Just don't touch anything. There are strip clubs, and then there are diners with naked gyrating broads. The difference is breakfast. My girl and I had spent the weekend camping in Northern GA, and had loosely discussed stopping in to witness the locals 'baring all,' as the signs assured us they would. For the record, I wouldn't've gone in here without my lady, and even then I did so from a strictly anthropological perspective. I saw what I expected: a bunch of guys immediately getting very awkward when they realized a non-stripper girl was present; a huge delicious plate of fried eggs, toast, and potatoes (which was unexpected, I guess) and, yes, some naughty bits. The strippers were friendly enough, though I suppose that's their job, and there were way more people present at 11 PM on a Monday night than I ever would've expected. As both a lesbian and avowed bon vivant (quantity over quality, I say) I spent the better part of a week looking forward to stopping at Cafe Risque on my way back from a wholesome weekend of family fun. In the days following up to my visit, I was intently set on ordering a fat stack of pancakes. However, upon entering the cafe, that all changed. As a connoisseur of fine cheeseburgers, I quickly ditched my breakfast plans and enthusiastically chose a bacon cheeseburger cooked medium well with all the fixings. When the waitress offered curly fries as a side option, my heart sank with glee. I must note, my fear that the ambiance would be depressing did not come to fruition. The music was HOPPING. And while I did not have a hankering for a lap dance, there was a hot second that I considered asking for a job application. Just in the nick of time, the waitress brought out our food and the smell of cooked animal diverted my attention to my lunch. I was NOT disappointed. My meal was absolutely delicious and I scarfed down every last crumb of curly fry. Took my wife back to Cafe' Risque' for her birthday. It was her idea! We aren't kids and love this type entertainment. However this trip was a disappointment. Only one dancing girl with a real stripper's body. Others cute enough. But built like teeny boppers. As I wrote, we are grown ups. We prefer grown up well endowed strippers. They were short handed..or short female hot bodies.. So it was repeated acts by same little kids who weren't even exciting or entertaining. We've seen more action at the beach. Perhaps we went back too soon. Not something to do regularly. Still treated nicely and had good meal. Also,on this trip there were at least half dozen other couples there. I've been planning to visit Cafe Risque for a couple of years, but never got around to it until today, in the context of a bicycle ride -- I motivate myself to exercise by planning a ride that puts me somewhere to eat or whatever at the halfway point. If I want e.g. pizza, I have to _work_ for it. So, 18 miles down the road from my house ... From the outside, it's hard to tell whether Cafe Risque is going to be a dive or a classy joint. As is not uncommon with strip clubs, there are dire warnings at the front door, e.g. if you try to pass them a fake ID they'll keep it, kick you out and turn the ID over to the sheriff. That might put some people off, but these kinds of establishments have to protect themselves. Inside: Classy joint. It's not dirty or ill-kept. There are tables to dine at and bar-type stools in front of the two stages (that I know of) for those who want to be near the dancers (and, if they're not rude, tip the dancers -- more on that in a bit). The food, and the food service, are great -- fast, friendly, efficient and not insanely priced. My waitress was not, as I expected from some reviews, totally nude but definitely provocatively dressed and attractive. Because I was in the middle of a bike ride, I went fairly light, just a hamburger plate and diet soft drink (total before tip less than $11). The burger was EXCELLENT, cooked properly to order and served on a premium bun. If you're there for the food, I don't think you'll be disappointed. In fact, I plan to go back some time and try the ribeye. Side note: They do not serve alcohol, and one of the signs outside specifies that if you're intoxicated you're not welcome. But let's be realistic: You're probably there for more than the food. While you're waiting for your food (it's not a long wait), expect one or two dancers to drop by your table, introduce themselves, make a little small talk, and ask if you're interested in a private dance. They are not overbearing about it; I had neither the cash nor the time, so I can't comment on those facilities or activities. My main takeaway there is that those things are available but that they're not going to hard sell you if you say no. So, two stages and a variety of dancers. By variety, I mean the dancers are of various ethnicities, body shapes and, within reason, apparent age. In my opinion, they are ALL attractive. I see some reviews here on Yelp which appear to have been written by 18-24 year olds who expect a stripper to be 21 years old, 95-105 pounds, etc. and who get bent out of shape at the idea of an exotic dancer who is 30 years old, weighs 130-140 pounds and may have a kid or two. I guess it's an age thing, but I appreciate women in both of the above categories, and beyond. I didn't see a woman in the place I wouldn't have been proud to be seen with at a party or social occasion, both in terms of physical beauty and interaction personality. I didn't have a lot of money for tipping on me, and I'm a strong believer in tipping dancers well. Some people don't seem to understand that the women there are WORKING. If you don't think it's work, turn on the stereo and try dancing with some ... acrobatics ... mixed in for, say, 20 minutes straight. In high heels. Also, have some friends watch and try to convince them non-verbally, while you're doing all this, that you DESPERATELY WANT to have sex with, or perhaps even embark on a relationship with, them. Because that is the fantasy a dancer has to sell in between the physically challenging aspects of showing off the goods. Trust me on this. When I was a much younger man, I worked in and around this industry a bit and dated a dancer or two. It's a job to pay the bills with and tips are the pay. So anyway, once I had no more money to tip, I was out the door. I don't expect dancers to work for free. The goods are, um, good. Like I said, these are attractive women and so far as I could tell they are all good at their jobs. And yes, they show off pretty much everything. Obviously a place like Cafe Risque is not for everyone. But if you like good food and being treated in a friendly way by beautiful women in less (mostly MUCH less) than the usual amount of clothing, you should pay a visit. read more

I stopped in for breakfast not expecting much at 10:00 am on the 23rd. The server was especially exceptional, her name was Cherry, she was very congenial and kept us a hot cup of coffee. I was very impressed with the service and the food, I had eggs and bacon, (every thing is better with bacon) the thing I enjoyed the most was Cherry's openness talking to me and who I was with. I left a good tip. They were extremely reasonable, and Cherry made my whole drive to Orlando worth every cent I spent there. Wow lots of improvements! Clean, fresh paint and carpet and lots of new private dance booths. Place is a well lit diner with great food and the girls are fully nude behind a row of bars rather that a "thrust stage and pole" it is truly unlike any place else. Safe, smoke free but full contact dancers that get fully nude. NO booze ! I personally liked that. Also no shady bouncers or bathroom attendants. Music by jukebox so you can have a say in what you listen too. Friendly staff and girls. Seems to have 6-9 girls changed every few hours. Lots of shapes, sizes and backgrounds. Honestly some were 10's and some were not but all were sexy and fun. Not your normal club at all. A must see!!! Cherry, Kandi and many more are great and I got to tip them and see them naked while eating the best Rueben ever.... steaks were good too and still only $15 for it... wow not over priced at all and they still gave a military discount on entry and on food. I went there today, waited, Jersey came out, said hi. Then honey came out and didn't look or listen to me. I said local 4 times, then she said Id. ( have shown it once this year ). I went here with my fiancé, he had to pay a $5 entrance fee, I got in free, which was a nice surprise. We both had a lot of fun. The atmosphere was laid back and there was only one girl who was seriously fishing for money, the rest were very nice and laid back. The Cafe is what it is. There are sexy women fully nude dancing for your pleasure. On a Sat. night they are very attractive. I have never tried the food. My main problem with the establishment is the private dances. Having been to other clubs of this kind in many cities. I was disappointed with the lap dances because: A) you cannot touch above the legs B) there is a camera enforcing this which can take you out of the mood pretty quick and C) They charge more than other amazing clubs for these dances. I arrived with some friends to this restaurant and it was a seat yourself kind of place. We took our seats and had to wait for quite a bit before our server greeted us. I skipped appetizers and with my drink order, I got their Wednesday all you can eat wing special. While I was excited at the possibility of gauging down on unlimited wings, I was betrayed. My first order of BBQ wings came in what felt like half an hour. I received my first order with 10 total wings, fair enough. As I finished this lovely platter, it took way too long to place a second order, and when I did it took again what felt like another half hour. When I did receive the second platter I thought I was being ridiculed. I received a tiny plate with five measly wings on it. The third plate had the same pattern but the server didn't let me change my flavor this time‼ When it came time to pay our cards got switched, returned incorrectly and thus charged incorrectly. That was strike three. I honestly looked for Ashton Kutcher as I thought I was being punked. Whilst looking for Ashton I noticed there were several nude dancers performing, definitely lightened the mood.
