My first time back after a number of years. What drew me back to this specific Cafesito is the wall of The New Yorker magazine covers. The cover art lends a very inviting international literary culture. I could sit here for hours, especially in the little seating cove I found. The double espresso macchiato was good as was the mango smoothie. The jalapeño bagel my wife had was surprisingly good. The consistency of the bagel was actually bagel-like. The bagel wasn't just a round piece of bread with a hole in it. And the jalapeño cream cheese was actually spicy! The interior of the place reminded me of cafés I would frequent in high school and college, except all the text and language being spoken was German, similar brown walls and menus with colored chalk. Felt like a homecoming for me. Seating is quite limited, or intimate if you want to out a positive spin on it. Not sure if they have wifi. I think they do as I saw a guy with an iPad. Really enjoy this place. Came here each morning for americanos and lattes. Outstanding coffee and very good baristas who know what they are doing. Bagels are impressive too -- hard to find a good one outside of the US. Try the Pretzel Bagel. Great service too. read more
