Matt has outfitted an old van and operates as a mobile cart selling what was, IMHO, his coffee was the closest thing to a Seattle latte (where I live) that I came across in Europe. I don't believe that his stand is open all days at the Royal Victoria docks, but if he is there (and you will know he is because he has great on-site marketing), it would certainly be a worthwhile investment to stop by and grab a cuppa joe. The so-called coffee was practically transparent--it couldn't even be called coffee. I'm sure the Mocha was made the same way. When we asked why the coffee looked so bad, we were told it had "a lot of water," but in reality, it was just old leftovers from another coffee. Another employee--a young man--remade the coffee, and this time it actually tasted like coffee. However, they didn't replace the Mocha. The person who originally made our coffee had a rude and arrogant attitude, insisting that the coffee was fine in her opinion. From the very beginning, the service was terrible. I live in this area, but I will never step foot in this place again. Avoid this cafe, you'll be extremely disappointed!

You'll probably go all "FOMO" and think -- what if something brilliant lies beyond this? What could there be!? Let me tell you, not much. Caffe Nero, a few overpriced restaurants, Panopolis. It's not great. If you want the nicest coffee in City Airport -- Illy has it for you. And for the love of all that is holy DO NOT GET COFFEE AT PANOPOLIS unless you like coffee that tastes like cigarette burns. Caffe Nero is a close second but always cramped and a bit too frou frou for me. Illy has this on lock. Beyond the coffee (which they make fresh and properly with an actual espresso machine, no push button ish going on here) -- they have a nice selection of baguette sandwiches that travel well, salads, and some antipasti (It's Italian after all!). If you're really engaged and have some time they even sell whole bean and other coffee oddities. I hope I've saved someone (ANYONE!) from a bad coffee or having to sheepishly backtrack to Illy once realizing the grass is not greener on the other side of the airport. This is it folks, get your coffee and snacks here then proceed into the glorious LCY, I'm a big fan of the airport, but the coffee options are slim. Double espresso was on point.
