The French vanilla flat white coffee I had was quite possibly the best I've had in a VERY long time, and at $3.40, cheaper than a lot of other places. The all you can eat pizza is an unusual concept because you don't have to finish the pizza to get a new one. We ate a half a seafood pizza before moving on to another and finished half of that and the leftovers were put in a box for us to bring home! You don't really order anything its more of a "get what you are given" scenario which is good for us indecisive people because you don't have to agonise over the menu trying to make a decision. Desserts are baked in house and the snowflake/hazelnut one we had was amazing but again they just bring out whatever dessert they want and you just enjoy. They didn't have a sign on the doors and other friends that arrived had to walk around to the front entrance as we didn't see them to let them know. The salad choice is amazing and all looked scrumptious although I thought the pricing is a bit steep. Then again, there was freshly roasted pork with crackling that was a bargain, so the prices are a real mix. My coffee came with a lovely St Pat's shamrock pattern and the $3 coffee was decent too. I purchased a triangular savoury (more suited to lunch than breakfast). Even though it doesn't come with Napolitana sauce the lady offered a bit on the side to try. My savoury was delivered warm and the sauce (a little runny but tasty) in a little jug so I could pour myself. The savoury triangle was a mix of spaghetti in a creamy sauce and covered in crumbs. It was big and a bargain at $3.50. My only disappointment was that they don't do breakfast (yet). Staff were very pleasant. I'll be back once the breakfast menu is up and running.

Delicious non-bread accompaniment to eggs and salmon. My dining companions ordered the pumpkin burger and apparently that was scrumptious. Really healthy too. It looked amazing. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the lady was really nice and their salads etc for their sandwiches looked really fresh and appetising. So, it's somewhere good to stop off and grab a quick bite and a Farmers Union Iced Coffee, but I wouldn't recommend having a real coffee. Just saying. What I liked about the rosa sauce and crab as that it complimented the pasta. Just as it is served traditionally. So, as if it was not the centre stage of the dish, it brings it all together. The sauce was creamy, the crab was flaked and evenly portioned through the pasta. What a great flavour! Blue Crab is something that is truly worth celebrating in Australia. It works so well in a dish like this. Well done chef! I did need to add a bit more seasoning, but that could just be my salt inclined palate. Finally, I can see why Jordan likes that poached egg ontop, it just gives an extra depth and richness to the dish. As for the café, you want to get in early. They don't take bookings. I don't know why but Java reminds me of another Adelaide gem - Lucia's in the Central Market. Java has the same retro (unintentional) 70's style. This local well kept secret has to be "the business" by the number of local Italian identities frequenting on a daily basis. Java makes me feel like I've stepped into a cafe on the back streets of Naples or Rome - it's not flash, hipster or trendy but it provides an absolutely essential service to the community - consistently exceptional coffee. Well worth making the trip to Newton on the weekend if you're not a local as they now have a breakfast menu 7.30-11.00 am (get there early - this place is buzzing from mid morning on). They also sell a delectable range of Italian dolci plus freshly baked enormous muffins. Although I haven't tried the teas they have an excellent range of blends and I am assured that Mario has taken the same care in selection as he does roasting his coffee beans.
