A a complete disaster. it needed five panels beaten out or replacing. well Eastbourne CF put in a seriously inflated figure and the car became a "write off". I talked to a local bodywork specialist near where I live and he said it could have been fixed for under half of what they quoted. wonder why they quoted so high?1?! could it be so that they could buy it as a write off, repair and sell on?! the engineer that assessed it promised twice to call me to talk through the damage but never did. HOW RUDE! And to add insult to injury the "manager" of ECF refused to take my belongings out of the car so that a friend could pick them up. What he wanted was for us two sisters, both elderly, both in self-isolation because of corona virus, to risk our own and other people's health by breaking government guidelines and travel 40 miles to eastbourne by public transport in order to pick them up ourselves. NEVER have I encountered such an offensive and unhelpful company. I felt truly insulted by their careless, unhelpful, rude attitude to elderly women at a time of national crisis. horrible, horrible, horrible.
