Unfortunately you will pay top dollar & should also be prepared to wait a while. The staff are pretty laid back & when there's a breakfast or lunch rush, they don't seem to have any systems in place to cope. We have had a hot freshly cooked meal arrive at our table before a simple croissant from the counter! Having said that, if you don't mind waiting & paying, the food that we have eaten as well as seen served at other tables is pretty delicious - definitely one of Gisborne's better establishments.
