We ordered the Tagessuppe (soup of the day), which was Brotli Soup (bread soup) and it was delicious. Light with tomatoes and zucchini, served with fresh bread. I ordered a housemade iced tea and a black tea and husband ordered a chai tea. They also have a basket of games for you to play, so it's very Bernese... slow and easy! Every place we visit, he always wants to have burgers at least once. I was looking at the map to find a good place just by looking at the pictures with some reviews. I found this place by accident so we took a chance on it. The restaurant is located inside a casino by the Swissotel Kursaal which we are staying fortunately otherwise we have to pay an entrance fee to go inside. My husband ordered their signature burger and I ordered the club sandwich which they both came with French fries. Let me tell you, when the food came they looked so delicious. My husband loved his burger and I loved my club sandwich which was like the one I had in Paris. The club sandwich in Europe is totally different from the one in USA. They are much much better. Also, the drinks were excellent. My husband ordered an old fashion which was not on the menu but the bartender made a special one for him, it was very good. Overall we had a great experience with this place, food was superb and service was excellent. If you are staying at the Swissotel, you definitely should try this place. They will give you a free drink chip when you enter the casino for the first time.
