Since the Rösterei is run by Blaser Cafe, who is a fairly big roasting company in the buildings nearby, I can stock up on cafe (Lilla et Rose blend) when I am here for lunch. Always busy since they are great in speciality coffee. They roast the beans right in house and are very conscious about the sources. I got a pour over which did not let me down! Prices are pretty low since it's in Bern. There's a little shop aswell, where you can buy all kind of coffee gear, coffee beans.. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, clean space and free wifi. I imagine that it's beautiful in summer, since you can sit outside. One of my to go places while visiting Bern.

The husband of the owner took our order and we had a small chat with him and he was very funny and easygoing. We sat at the window where we could watch the people walking by, which was great. I ordered a housemade iced tea and a black tea and husband ordered a chai tea. They also have a basket of games for you to play, so it's very Bernese... slow and easy! Try the brioche filled with vanilla cream for breakfast or the small pasta and Italian ham dishes served over lunch. This café also serves nice aperitif that you can enjoy in the sun on the small wooden tables on the pavement. Prices are very reasonable for Switzerland. I order a takeaway cappuccino here every morning: a great start to my day.
