Uneven service depending who is at bar. The young ladies is delightful and some may even recall…read morewhat you had yesterday and offer you the same. They are cheery and go the extra mile while there is a mustachioed older gentleman who seems grandfathered in to the place. Zero customer service, he responds gruffly if you ask a question. He refused me soy milk when I saw clearly there was several containers at breakfast. Also his service was painfully slow while we were the only ones in the cafe at that time. Ugh. But it's the cafe for the hotel and no other convenient option. although the pastries look good, make sure the apple strudel is Cooke well on the bottom crust ... Not my favorite experience at a five star establishment but they try to make up for blunders with small compensation and most do have a pleasant attitude to the guests. The restaurant is slow as molasses the food is well played and delicious to taste and look at. It is pricey but commensurate with the hotel status.

They also have a nice selection of cheeses, meats (salami, horse, blood sausages) and muesli. On a separate table they have hot containers full of bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs. There is also a section of fresh breads that you can eat whole or you can cut a piece off using the bread knife. Make sure you grab some nutella and/or some of the amazing jams they have out: strawberry, raspberry, orange, sour cherry and more! The service is great as well; if you want something they don't have laid out on the buffet they can make it for you: pancakes, poached eggs etc, they will do it for you. Oh and their coffee is great and they make a bomb cappuccino =D

These desserts are beautiful and delicious even after carrying around for a day!!! Macaroons were good, caramel my favorite but a little chewy and crème brûlée was a little too rich and I'm a sugar fiend, but not as good as the other desserts!! I will go back!!

I rarely give glowing reviews of perfection but this little shop deserves it! Upon entrance, you'll notice it's a small shop with a smaller selection of pastries than some other bakeries around. But look closer and you'll see several intricate items, such as chocolates in the shape of a ball with swirls of color. It's near Christmas now so I'm unsure of the selection during the non-holiday season. Currently there are so many options for gifts. Ordered a latte (really good) to go with the lemon tart and tonka pastries. If you do the same, I recommend consuming the Tonka first. It's super rich and creamy in texture but lighter in flavor. Good on its own, but difficult to taste the flavor next to the knock your socks off lemon tart. The lemon tart was the perfect blend of sugar & tartness. It was all so good that we left with two more, plus two boxes of petite pastries, some macarons (these were alright but nothing close to Laduree -a bit too sweet and too saturated with coloring), and chocolates. Additionally, the gentleman that helped us was really friendly and spoke English.
