Fatoush's was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. So was the hummus. The falafel and kebbe were better; both are strong on taste. Lastly, the grilled halloumi was excellent. All portions were a bit small though. Good thing we weren't too hungry. As for our main dish, it also came with (yummy) garlic-lemon potatoes, muhammara (nut-paprika) and three sauces. The meats were a little over cooked but very good overall, especially the shawarma which was perhaps the best thing in the restaurant. We were both very satisfied and might come back tomorrow night to try something else!

For a family of five we ordered three skewer platters (two chicken and one beef kebabs). Since we were particularly hungry, I think that we would have benefitted from ordering another plate or two (each plate came with two kebabs), but it was all delicious! We especially liked the bread that they provided, and I enjoyed the hummus and baba ghanoush as well. The meat was very tender and soft, and the wait staff was also very courteous. After a few days of eating European food, it was nice to just eat some chicken and rice. I won't be returning to Switzerland for a while, so I unfortunately won't be able to come back to Layaly Beirut, but I leave this review here so that others may try the tasty Lebanese cuisine served at this establishment.
