We went into the first entrance we saw, which led us into a small basement space with a counter to order drinks, and a little back room with more games. To me, it was a pretty typical gaming cafe - nothing remarkable. We played some card games for a bit, sipped our tea, and then we headed upstairs to leave... but THEN, we realized the actual MAIN section of the cafe was upstairs, and it was huge. There were several copies of each game neatly stacked, and went on forever. Every game you could think of seemed to be on the shelved. They had cute merchandise, too. We were both bummed we didn't realize it before, but I bookmarked this place so that I can return next time I am in Copenhagen. If you love gaming, this place is a must.

It is definitely very Belgian and there are many Belgian beers in bottles you can have with food or to buy. The food here was delicious! We only had a snack but it was amazing! The combination of his quaint shop with classical music, "try this" samples, great deals on exceptional wine, and probably the best (if not most memorable) sandwich I've ever had, made Thirion one of the high points of my week in Copenhagen.
