    Hazelnut latte

Hazelnut latte was pristine with the rabbit latte art. So cute! Options for oat milk too

I love all the natural light that floods into this place. It makes it perfect for studying or an afternoon read. The décor is minimal with a black and white colour scheme accented with wood and greenery. The latte is rich and the staff are really friendly. I believe this café opened not too long ago so I'll probably come here more often before it becomes flooded with regulars! P.S. They just surprised me with some free samples...sweet!

The cafe is very clean. It's mostly quiet, and not too crowded so it's good for me to get some work done. The baristas are friendly as well.

Great vibes! Barista was super friendly! Lots of outlets for studying/work! I got a filtre coffee black - it was so tasty and naturally sweet! My boyfriend got a cold brew and was good as well. I personally liked the hot brew over the cold brew.

I have been to this coffee shop twice and they offer good drinks and the vibes of this bright cafe are simply amazing. Lately they offered a new drink: caramel latte, which was not sooo sweet and tastes quite good! I like the quality of the coffee here, as well as the friendly staff. They always want to get feedback from customers and do better. The interior decor of the café is simplistic but super nice, with quite a few plants and beautiful flowers in spring. The café is trendy and bright, ideal to study, work and chill with friends, definitely recommending!

The staff was friendly to introduce the real breakfast samples to us at first. It's really helpful to have a choice quickly. Every time I pass by I think the mural and plant decorating are so beautiful. It's really enjoyable to come here and have a weekend breakfast in the morning. The quality coffee is great as well as sandwiches. Love the ambience.

Empty until around 2pm on a Saturday, so make sure to come "early" to grab a seat!

This cafe has everything going for it. Accessible location, perfect lighting for studying, lots of plugs, delicious Pilot coffee, and best of all, AMAZING staff. Seriously I've been here for 3 hours and gotten a free matcha latte and a sample of sausage pizza. Granted, don't come expecting free stuff everyday, but do expect to be welcomed with friendly smiles :)

Great spot. Amazing tea and coffee. Started everyday of our vacation at Origine with a latte and their delicious buttery croissants.

We stayed…read moreat Le Mount Stephen Hotel without doing much research on dining options, assuming we'd just find something nearby. But before even checking in, we had to walk through Bar George ~ and instantly knew we wanted to eat there. We were lucky enough to grab a last-minute reservation, and Julien took a good care of us throughout the evening. His recommendation of the Beef Wellington was spot on (it's already one of our favorite dishes), but this was hands down the best we've ever had. I ordered the lobster risotto, which was excellent with just the right amount of spice. My son had the 10 oz striploin steak with homemade fries (chips), and it was absolutely delicious. I also loved the Canadian touch of coarse salt on the steak, plus the option to choose between Béarnaise or peppercorn sauce. Julien also mentioned their pastry chef placed second in a NY competition, and the desserts absolutely lived up to that reputation. We tried the pineapple and coconut pavlova and the "lick me hazelnut" ~ both beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. We also ordered iced coffee and a latte, and noticed something interesting: this was the second place where we found Canadian coffee to be smooth and mild ~ such a nice change from the often bitter, over-roasted American coffee. Yes, dinner was a bit steep ($300+), but it was worth every penny. Between the rich history, stunning design, outstanding service, and unique cuisine, I would highly recommend Bar George. I would absolutely love to come back!!

While the restaurant is highly celebrated and located within a Michelin-recognized hotel building, it does not hold a Michelin star of its own. But it is extremely classy. We decided to do lunch instead of dinner and it was a little more our speed, but if very, very attentive waitstaff is not your thing and $200 for lunch I'd skip this spot. We went because it had reviews for amazing beef Wellington and my husband hadn't had any in decades. And we were on vacation so let's go! The food was beautifully plated and service was impeccable inside of an amazingly decorated dining room that looked like a library in a mansion. The meals themselves weren't obscenely expensive but add a glass a wine, bread (it was not included) and coffee and it put us close to $200. But it was a great experience and I had never had beef Wellington - it was melt in your mouth good. Might go again next time we come up from CT.

Food was just okay; foie gras was overly sauced. Service was the main issue. My cappuccino was mostly foam, and the replacement was still charged on the bill. Had to wait for a manager who never showed up until much later, and even then, nothing was resolved--just called it a "miscommunication." Overall, poor service and not worth the trip. Would not recommend.

The bar is first come, first served, so if you forget to book ahead, it's definitely worth trying your luck. You can still order anything from the full menu. The modern, upscale interior sets the tone for a fancy brunch experience that feels both elegant and welcoming. Foie gras for breakfast? Absolutely yes. They also have a full bar for anyone who wants something pretty to sip on while enjoying their meal. The servers were bilingual in French and English, and they were kind, attentive, and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. My goal was to eat as much foe grais as I can on this trip so I ordered the Foie Gras Poached Eggs. OMG starting off with the bread that was on the bottom, it was so soft and fluffy. Literally melted in my mouth. The foie gras had a beautiful sear and was rich and silky, with a texture that honestly reminded me of ice cream. There was also a touch of sweetness in the sauce that cut through the richness in the best way. Every bite was perfectly balanced. I was super impressed and will absolutely try to visit again the next time I'm in Montreal.
