Apparently, I agreed to an abusively written contract, which absolves Farmers of any sympathy or humanity whatsoever. My 14 year old, disabled daughter has: Autism, Epilepsy, Hyperinsulinism, and recently underwent surgery in Philadelphia for thyroid cancer. When my condo association opened up the walls in every room of my home to retrofit plumbing for two and a half weeks, we were forced to stay in a hotel for her safety. As you can imagine, we can not take anymore risks when so many health conditions are environmental. I submitted a claim for $90/day for the hotel. Our claim was denied, with no tact whatsoever. I escalated my claim to management, but was shot down. Never once did Lisa Newell get on the phone to talk to me, I only spoke to her assistants, and to confused claim reps from Arizona. If you care about your family more than "the bottom line" please take your business elsewhere. Don't be a fool like me and dutifully pay your dues for years, only to find out that Farmers Insurance is not paying theirs. Thanks for reading.
