On 4/8/24 I went to get my front tent redone. I had previously gotten it done at another place who scammed me 3 years prior. So I came back to a place I thought did good work. I came in with my car clearly with darker front tint I told Andrea I wanted the same darkness in the front which I had was 35 she said they only carry 20% or 5 not wanting to be totally blacked out I said okay 20% thinking it would be darker but not to bad. Well I get there and I see this (look below) clearly not darker at all. I explained that to her she then tried to make a bunch of excuses as to why i could clearly see through it. She even said her van the gold Honda in the parking lot had the same tint in the front as I had. (It did not her tint is darker) so she went to speak to her husband about it and he said he will redo and charge me 140x2 so 280 total WTH I clearly was irritated at this point and just left. I paid and left very upset and disappointed I will never be back again. I've been here 3 other times and never had this problem. To perform work that's not up to your customers satisfaction then to over charge. I even asked if he could go over it with another layer of 20% to make it darker he said I l would still be charged. Never again. They lost my business. My car before he took the old tint off is CLEARLY darker then the tint he out on. I stated what I wanted I EXPRESSED I WANTED THE SAME DARKNESS I CURRENTLY HAD ON. These are 2 different shades. I'm ANGRY livid I spent money and my car looks the way it does. If I had known it wasn't going to be the same shade of darkness (look at the pictures) I would have left my original tint on. I absolutely hate my windows im ANGRY over this. I even asked if you could go over it with another 20% to make it darker you wanted to charge me another 140. Your wife lied to me saying it would be darker than what I had on and it's CLEARLY NOT DARKER. I CAN SEE THROUGH MY CAR. Take responsibility these are 2 different shades

After I attempted to call several other tint shops cal customz answered and I got a quote that made me really happy for my 2016 Jeep Compass. They booked me the first appointment the next morning and I took it in and while I was waiting I met the owner and started to ask about the wraps and how much it would cost which they offer at a great price as well. I would recommend this business to anyone who is wanting to get their car done and for sure will be bringing all my cars here when they need anything. Update: my car was broken into one week after I had it tinted (veterans day weekend) and the owner had me come in on Veterans Day to tint my window himself. This meant so much to me as a veteran myself, that he was willing to help me out on his day off. If I could give a 10 star review I would. Please please please before going anywhere else check Cal Customz our first amazing work, amazing people and an all around great product!!! For sure a customer for life!

Needed to get my d/p window tint removed b/c I got a fix it ticket (sad look). I'll admit it was pretty dark. Anyhow, moving on. After checking yelp reviews and calling this shop. They gave me an estimate that I couldn't pass up to remove my tint. They were able to get me in around my schedule (not the easiest schedule to get car stuff done) and it took no time for them to complete the job (I had my daughter so I was worried I'd be dealing with a 2 y/o tantrum if it took too long). If I decide to re-tint my windows on my car or tint my next car. I'll return to have them do the job. The people were really nice. Check them out if you are looking for a tint shop. read more

Made an APPOINTMENT to get my windows tinted. Had a 9am appointment. Showed up right at 9, and the doors were locked. Called the shop twice and it went right to voicemail. Even walked around to the back of the shop to see if anyone was hanging out back there. Waited until 9:15 and still no one showed up. Even shows on their door store hours are Mon-Sat 9-5. Gave up and left. I'm sure their window tinting would have been great but too bad no was there. It's now 11am as I'm writing this review and still no call back. Very unprofessional. read more

I called to make sure the price advertised on Groupon covered all the windows on my camry. The person that picked up checked with his manager by the name of Hector, and confirmed that they will cover all my windows. He even told me that exact amount of $149.00 cash. Upon getting to the shop Hector made lame excuses, first he was like I am busy today I can only finish the back half, than he flat out refused the price that they had quoted me. I was like WOW, is only excuse was that his cousin had misquoted me the price and that he did not work there. I do not appreciate making someone drive from far away in order to decieve them. read more

I do have to say that accidents happen and I'm pretty over it now. I do know that this company is good, especially because he owns it himself. I also couldn't argue the price, the other tint shops wanted to charge $50.00 just to remove the driver and passenger door windows. read more

Just had my back windows tint replaced by cal customz. The staff was very courteous and professional. Only reason I gave them 4 stars is because when I called in and received and estimate, the gal on the phone misquoted me for the work to be done. But it all worked out and still got a great deal altogether. Would definitely recommend anyone looking to get their tint done to come here. read more

I found these guys when I did a search for a 3M authorized dealer because I had some issues with my 3M tinting that was done elsewhere. They are awesome! They were kind to hang out a short time after closing so that I could bring my car by to assess the tinting. They were very quick to have it approved for warranty replacement and get me scheduled. My car looks FABulous!!! I couldn't be happier. We are taking my girlfriend's car tomorrow to get the back half tinting done. Hector is a really nice guy. He's personable and talkative. Those are qualities I like in people that I do business with. It's what brings your customers back to you. I will definitely bring any future vehicles to them and recommend them to anyone I know that's looking for tinting. Thanks again! read more

This is my first review on Yelp. I usually just read reviews. The reason I am writing a review now is because I wanted everyone to know about my experience. I was recommended to this shop by my sister. She had her 2014 Honda Accord EX tinted. The work that they did was excellent. But here's the weird thing. When she went to pick up her car, she saw one of the workers use her car to jump start someone else car. I was not there, but I was thinkin... WTH? Shouldn't they have asked her first? but whatever... They did a good job on the tint, so shrugged it off. I had an APPOINTMENT at noon. There is a reason why we make appointments... I showed up 10 min early. They told me come back in an hour. Really? I guess my time is not that important. Thanks Cal Tint. I would never recommend anyone to go to your shop. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Window tint on 5 windows was installed by Cal Customz on 6/27 on my 2019 Honda Civic. Upon receiving my car I noticed a small scratch in the film on the drivers side window, I noticed multiple contamination bubbles from improper cleaning prior to installation, and worst of all I noticed a LARGE crease in the film on my rear window. I brought these to the attention of the receptionist and the manager. They informed me to wait until the 5 days was up to allow the tint to settle in. 5 days later and the problems were still there, to no surprise, a crease, contamination, and a scratch are not going to simply just disappear. When I brought my vehicle back on 7/2 I dropped my car off at 10:30am, and was called at 3:30pm to be informed that my vehicle was ready. Upon arrival, ALL of the problems were UNRESOLVED. This shop had my car for 5 hours and did NOTHING. The crease is still currently there, the MANY contamination bubbles are still there and growing, and the scratch to the drivers side window is also still there. They did not even attempt to remove the damaged tint film and replace it even though it is covered under warranty by the manufacturer AND considering it was damaged upon installation. My husband and I waited to speak to the owner until 4:30 and he never arrived, we were told to allow it to settle AGAIN and call back on the 4th of July. Most ALL businesses are closed on that holiday and Cal Customz left no schedule on their door, their website, or phone message of what their holiday hours would be. My husband and I came back on Friday, the day after the 4th of July to find the shop tightly locked up during their normal business hours, with NO inclination of when they would return or normal business hours would resume. I have left multiple phone messages for the owner/ manager and none have been returned. I am DISGUSTED with this transaction. In addition, they had my car for the 5 hours and problems were still not fixed, I did notice a LARGE laceration to my front drivers rim that was not present prior to leaving my vehicle in their care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. read more

He arrived with the vendor representative and was expedient to complete the install. After one month, there were some bubbles that still had not evaporated from the installation and Chris returned to attempt to fix them. After another month, I informed Chris that the bubbles were still present. He assured me that under his warranty, he would replace the three panels that required replacing but needed to wait for another window film order. Month after month, I checked in with him. Responses were slow, and now after 9 months I have given up. One star for not fulfilling on his warranty promises.

Alright so I have been taken all my cars since the first one I ever bought myself... And to this date they have done a every good job on my cars and I have never had to go back for anything, the price is good as well and the customer service was also professional... This was when they where at the auto mall, now since they moved and got a new owner as well I have taken my car to get a full wrap job on it, and I have to say I was a little scared at first, but got it done. I have to say it came out very very good, a lot better then I thought it would come out... The car had a new look and I am happy with the job... Check out the pictures, it's the Matt red genesis with the carbon fiber hood and top that was also a wrap done by them as well... Unlike other shops, they will wrap your car but with out taking off your bumpers and lights and the little stuff on your car so it tucks in perfectly. Caltint took everything they can off my car so the job looked good... People mistake it all the time for a paint job that's how good it was done hahah... Anyways good company good service. I was looking for someone to tint my car windows. I went to several places and the customer service was terrible or they were too busy to even bother and help me. Therefore I came across Cal Customs through google. I took my vehicle in and the receptionist by the name of Claudia greeted me and was so nice I felt comfortable as she provided a great atmosphere I felt acknowledge as a person and she provided excellent customer service. I then met the owner Sergio who also seemed friendly and down to earth he was nice and answered all my questions, he had time to listen and not make me feel like I was bothering him and I didn't feel rushed. I liked that fact that I was treated and welcome as a person vs a money sign I left Cal Customz satisfied. Now a days it is really hard to find good customer service & great quality work. I am very happy to come here for getting the best services . Facing a little accident my car glass is broken but I am lucky that this incident happened near this station. With the accident no damage done but only the glass has broken. So I have to change my car glass and the mechanics with my order are able to change with a short time.
