I remember in school we were told about this place in a condescending, guilt-mongering manner so I'm going to try and be a bit more liberal about the whole thing and think about what bothered me about going to places like the "Brook".

Despite none of the magazines being readable, it's a comfortable place to wait for your appointment - big dining tables do make it a bit like a youth centre but let's face it, that's what it is.
