It's quiet and easy to get to and has a decent selection of shops so you will probably find what you need at good prices. They have a lot of vacant spaces but I usually hit Bealls, Jacob's Well, Bath and Body Works, Old Navy, American Eagle, Ann Taylor, The Clearance Chucks and a couple of Antique and Thrift type shops. read more

This outlet mall has seen better days. I'd say half of the stores in the pictures have shuttered as there's no Izod, no Tommy and others. About the only good stores are a small Nike factory store and an Old Navy outlet. Many of the stores are local places such as an antique store which would be great if I lived in the area. I think the mall would do better if it had a full scale restaurant or something of that sort. Seems like there's plenty of land to do that with and with a premium freeway location it's puzzling why mall management hasn't tried to attract one. Who knows? I'd stop there again due to the Nike store not being too crowded but not sure that I would go anywhere else. read more

I just looked at their website and apparently they were upgraded to "Calhoun Premium Outlets." I'm almost positive that the signage in Calhoun still says "Prime Outlets," so I guess they're a little behind on their updates. (Why does this not surprise me?) Either way, I enjoy coming here when I'm out at my parent's house since they're just a half hour from Calhoun. I've never driven up from Atlanta (75N), but it would probably be a solid hour and 15 minutes in the car. When you exit 75, the outlets are to the right and you have to drive a mile or so to get to them. My favorite stores here are Coach and Ann Taylor Factory, but there is also a Gap Outlet, Old Navy, Nike Factory Store, Rack Room, several children's stores, and more. I always find fantastic deals at Ann Taylor- the other day, I got a black cardigan sweater for $28 and a black dress (exposed zipper) for $10. They have a huge clearance section and deep discounts on the other merchandise, which includes shoes and jewelry. The outlets are lacking in the food and drink department- you have to drive to the other side of 75 to get something to eat or drink. I definitely think they should move the Starbucks and Chick-fil-A closer to the outlets- just sayin'. Love this place it is never crowded and a great place to buy good deals. Not your regular outlet mall but definitely want to pass by specially if you're in the neighborhood. I find that I always find things here to take back home that are worth it. read more

Pretty much my childhood experiences have been here. Growing up literally a mile away from this place, I sure have done some damage. :/ (sorrry dad!) I even learn to drive first at the parking lot here! Many experiences. This place is fun. I always here about people driving miles and miles for this, don't know why, but its nice if youre in the neighborhood! Its got gat, old navy, bath and body works, coach, polo, nike, and rak outfitters where you could get your Patagonia/northface fix to name a few of my favs. If you're in the area or passing by, def help this small town out and splurge a little. 45 minutes outta the way and I find myself at this outlet mall. So why on earth does one take a road trip pass two malls all the way out here to Calhoun... Well first of all if one's mother says that's where they want to go, then that's where you're going and second...it's small, usually not overcrowded, and has decent stores. I've shopped at this outlet mall numerous times. I was especially here alot when I was living in Chattanooga a few years back. It's easy to get to, but a pain in the ass if you pass the exit as the next exit to turn around isn't close at all. The main congestion, of course, is at the entrance, but being patient and a careful driver is all it takes to get pass the mish-mash. I'm not going to go over all the stores we visit, but there's usually something for everyone to buy here. We usually head to the right as we turn into the outlet mall and park at the end near the office. The restrooms are clean and there's a sitting area and vending machines inside. Other than that, I can say this is a mall I actually like... I don't need a giant mega mall to get any shopping done, so I am a fan of their low key outlet stores. But hopefully they'll fill some of those empty spots the next time we go back... Another purse store would be fantastic... read more

This is a decent outlet and easily accessible from the interstate. It's located off of I-75 in Calhoun, exit 312. The outlet itself looks old, almost as if it was some other shopping plaza originally and had been converted. It has a lot of your standard stores that you would probably find at a Tanger or some other outlet mall such as Nike, Polo, and Old Navy. It does have a Coach store as Kimberly mentioned but that's about as "Premium" as it gets. Ann Taylor, Polo, and Tommy Hilfiger would be your next closest "high end" stores. I stopped for Ann Taylor and Loft. My biggest appreciation is for the ample parking and minimum crowding. If they have the store you're looking for I'd def recommend stopping by. If you want a luxurious shopping experience complete with the hustle and bustle of crowds and parking spot scavenger hunts, keep it moving. read more

Check the website to see the list of stores they have...for me, I was looking for kids clothes so I had 5 good stores to choose from. All the stores that I went too: Old Navy, Gymboree, Carter's, Children's place, Bath & Body works...had great sales going on. If I had more time I would have checked out a few more stores. Outlets are an easy 40 minute drive from Chattanooga and 1 hour from Atlanta area. If you are in the area, good place for some quick shopping. read more

It's an older, tired-looking outlet mall that seems to have known better days. The stores are primarily the usual suspects, with perhaps one or to that aren't outlet-ubiquitous. We usually stop here when were headed to or from Chattanooga. Otherwise, it;s too far from home to make the trip worthwhile. Perhaps it's the age, the lack of unique stores or its distance from ATL that make parking so easy. It's far less crowded that other outlet malls. read more

Stopped at the kitchen collection for a micro plane. And they actually had it. A few different sizes too. I am not a shopper at all but I could see where this outlet area would appeal to many. Stores line both sides with ample parking in between. Less than five minutes off the highway. If they don't have what you want here I don't know where you could go. read more

This is your typical outlet location with a few nuances. The place is very spread out, so it's not easy to simply park and walk. There is also a limited selection. With that being said its better than most of the places in Dalton and it's not too far from Dalton. Depending on what you need it might be worth the trip. Coach baby! I only stopped at the Coach store, but the outlet seemed to be a nice one. Similar in size to the Locust Grove outlet but much smaller than the North Georgia Premium Outlet. LIMITED OPTIONS! The Calhoun Outlet center is just north of Dalton, Ga. It is small and has a few stores like Coach, Ralph Lauren, Sunglass Hut, a tool store, monogram shop, Famous footwear, Outfitters, nail and hair salon, a coffee shop, a small restaurant as well as other options. One of their more unique stores happened to be an adorable home décor store, (The market) and perfect for the person who enjoys a shabby chic vibe. This store had a great selection of holiday themed décor and would be a primary destination if stopping by again. As I stated, this outlet center is very small and limited. If I was out for general shopping, it would not be my first choice. However, I was looking for something very specific and thought that this would be a good option. If they have your favorite store, it is always worth stopping for a visit as the merchants are very warm and friendly. read more

This is only a cool outlet mall if you have kids, little kids like toddlers or elementary school age. There are hardly any stores that I would care to go to. Only a few stood out - Nike, Claire's, Rue 21...the rest, didn't care for. Sure there is Coach, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger but where's Levi's or Wet Seal? Compared to the other outlet mall, Calhoun is sure a letdown. read more

So a friend and I decided to venture way out 'chonder in the mountains in quest for some deals, boy were we disappointed. This is nothing like the outlets at 400, this is more like an outdoor strip mall. Aside from the coach outlet, gap, and the bath and body works outlet (where almost everything in the store was under $10!) there were hardly any other worthwhile stores. Save your time, and precious precious gas and head up to Dawsonville instead! Trust me you wont find a pottery barn, BCBG, Kate Spade etc... anywhere around this outlet! read more

This is a close option for weekend shopping warriors to go get some OK deals, nothing really amazingly cheap here. There is not a huge selection, but I guess that's because I am comparing it to the Dawsonville Premium Outlets where there are a lot more stores and brands to choose from. The highlights of Calhoun Premium Outlets are the Nike, Polo, and Old Navy Outlets. Also, if you are so inclined to spending $300 on a purse, there is also a Coach outlet. read more

I was very happy I did not let the negative reviews stop me from visiting the outlet mall in Calhoun. I absolutely loved the friendliness and help of all the employees in the different shops. Impressive. I fell in love with the Vanity Fair store and found some awesome deals and prices. I wasn't as impressed with Dress Barn, Hanes or some of the higher end stores, but I didn't find some great clearence prices on next year's fall sweaters at Lane Bryant. I am disabled and the convince of parking and not having such long walks and crowds was a dream come true for someone that isn't able to do marathon walking and shopping. I would recommend anyone that doesn't like huge crowds, rude sales clerks and high prices to spend a few hours shopping here. It may not be the biggest outlet mall but for those of us who are older or have disabilities, it reminds you that you can still get great prices, with great staff.
