They charge $2,000 more for the same services other Trust Attorneys offer. Shortly after the initial consultation and the first of 3 payments, my wife suffered a ruptured appendix with complications that kept her hospitalized for 9 days with an additional 5 days at home with a drain. I received a very nasty e-mail from David Feakes demanding that I keep to the schedule, which was meeting with the attorney drafting the documents for only 1 hour. That was the only meeting allowed other than the final signing. It's impossible to review all those documents in that short a time. And their secure portal Clio was an absolute farce. It would kick you off after only a short time to review the documents. My wife and I have had our Trust documents updated by 3 different law firms. And at each update, we've met in person numerous times to review and discuss changes either side thought should be made. Not so with this firm. You get only a single 1 hour meeting. To top it off, I gave them the 2nd payment as agreed at that 1 hour meeting only to find that they had done an EFT from my bank without my permission at the same time. When I gave them the check for the final payment at the sign off meeting, I discovered afterward that they had already helped themselves to my checking account a month before the final payment was due.
