The cali shine team did a great job cleaning my car. The interior is fantastic and almost all of the dog hair is gone. I was originally quoted $219-$279 for the job but the final price was $285 + tax because he said he lost our chat and didn't remember what he quoted me. To be fair I didn't push back when he said $285 but when I checked my phone later I saw the original quote. I had asked twice to get the car clay bared over text and was told that was absolutely doable but the car did not get clay bared (again bc his phone lost the chat history). I was told I would get a discount if I decided to get it polished later because he forgot about the claybar. I ended up clay baring it myself after they left. Overall I am satisfied with the service and the team but I give it 4/5 stars overall for the communication lapses. I would have rather paid more and have everything completed during a single appointment. read more

Was referred to Kaiky by a coworker who had his car done in his work's parking lot. I had him come to my home in Sunnyvale before I moved up to SF. It's expensive, but so worth it. He even cleaned the car tire/trunk/boot out that basically no one sees. My car was 5 years old and I had never had a detail done -- just done self car washes. It's nearly the same as when I bought it and he did in just a couple hours. When I'm down in the south bay again I'll definitely reach out to him since I know it'll be done well since car washes in the bay area do not have good reputations. Just a note that due to the shampoo it takes hours to dry from damp, so try to build in time for that after the appointment so ensure it'll be done when you need it. read more
