As I start this review, let me be clear that we had just had an unprecedented natural disaster, on April 28, where the area had experienced baseball to softball sized hail. With that said, this shop was underprepared for a disaster of this magnitude. I immediately made a claim, and was one of the first vehicles to be dropped off at this site. The lovely front desk lady, was stressed but pleasant, especially to everyone who entered as their entire world had been destroyed by the hail. My check in was quick, and I was in and out of the office quickly, since I had already filed the claim and they were expecting me. I received a text from Caliber stating that my car was nearing completion, and feel free to reach out to us. So I called, and was met with a hostile almost confrontational attitude from the staff. On May 13, I received another text stating "just wanted to update you and let you know repairs are going well and your vehicle is actually back in reassembly and with any luck I will have it completed tomorrow. If I make it, I will contact you and let you know- Thanks-Wayne". I contacted the shop the following day and was once again met with a confrontational and rude attitude by Wayne and his staff. I was sent the following text about my vehicle" Just waiting on glass company now. As soon as they do glass it will be finished but I can't give you any expectations due to we don't handle that parts. But as soon as it is ready I'll call you. Thanks, Wayne". On May 21, 2026, I received a new text that stated "We have updated your estimated completion date from 5/14 to 5/20/26. Thank You Caliber Collision" This seemed odd since my car should have been completed the day before given the date the text was sent, but when I called to find out what was going on, I was again met with attitude, and a list of excuses about how State Farm was the problem. On May 22, I received a new updated text " We have updated your estimated completion date from 5/20 to 5/29/26, Thank You Caliber Collision". This means that they will have had my car over a full month to complete the repairs. After I called again, and met with more excuses and more hostility, I received a new updated text " We have updated your estimated completion date from 5/29 to 6/5/26. Thank you, Caliber Collision". At this point I was running out of car rental on my State Farm Policy, and contact my agent's office about the problem. My agent contacted Caliber on my behalf, and was willing to find the windshield, that I had be informed was the problem, and even offered to arrange towing to the local Subaru dealership to have them complete the repairs. She was also met with hostility. Caliber refused the additional assistance, and continued on ghosting us on the repair process. On June 8, I received a new text stating "We have updated your estimated completion date from 6/5 to 6/8/2026. Thank You. Caliber Collision". Due to all the setbacks I had to beg State Farm an extension on my rental car. They gave me 2 extra days. So, Wayne called on 6/8/2026 to let me know my car was finally completed. My husband, daughter and myself arrive to find my car sitting out front of the building with the driver's side window down. I went in to find the general manager sitting behind the front desk, telling us that they had lost so many employees because none of them were willing to work 60+ hours a week to meet the demand that was coming into be fixed. We looked outside to find my car started and a technician siting inside. Somehow, my driver's side window would no longer go up and stay up. It would just go up and immediately roll back down. Wayne assured us that his crew were going to get it fixed, which included trying to short the car out with jumper cables hooked to the battery and then random places under the hood (I am writing this on 6/22/26, my car battery died today). My husband and I requested the car go to the Subaru dealership to be fixed, it did not. On June 10, my husband and I arrived back at Caliber to finally pick up my car. There were glass shards still sparkling throughout the cabin, chipped paint on the hood, damage to my door handles, damage to my plastic trim pieces, caked on compound around the lights, and random parts of the interior laying in the backseat floorboard, under the driver's seat and one piece nicely hidden in the center console. We had a confrontation with Wayne in the parking lot about the state of the car, in which he told us that if he just had a few more days he could get it detailed, refused to take responsibility for the damage his shop had caused to the paint and trim pieces, so we immediately took the car to our State Farm Agent's office. Pictures were taken upon arrival, and we requested that we take the car to a different repair shop for the additional repairs. I brought my truck in the next morning, and they worked on the tailgate that day. It was finished by 11 o'clock the next morning. They came to my house to get me, because it was my only vehicle.
