Their tech, Jon, who came to my house to service my old treadmill was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions, plus provided me with additional information regarding maintaining my treadmill with great tips of what to look for since my treadmill is old and had been in storage. I ordered a bunch of equipment over the last five years. I recently ordered a new Smith machine. They came and set it up just like all the other things easily. They come out and check my equipment once a year tighten up bolts. Make sure everything is working properly. I have a treadmill that has to be partially dismantled to move it and CF has done this for me in addition to replacing a part. Update-they finally got back to me after a week or so of responding to every Craigslist ad they posted. I purchased a used elliptical. I'm still using it today. I would give 4 stars if it didn't take so long to get ahold of someone. I spoke with Slavic and he was very helpful with selecting a machine. This was months ago. Original review-Honestly I shouldn't even be reviewing because I've never received any service. I've emailed and called for nearly a week and they will not respond to either. I'm willing to give them a lot of money and they don't answer? They keep posting craigslist ads for equipment. Why post an ad if you're not willing to pick up the phone? I'd be willing to reconsider my review if I could get some service out of them. read more

Finally, a service company that responds and shows up on time (early actually) and is very professional and thorough. Kris Lewis showed up today as his company was hired by a 3rd party warranty compay we have on our eliptical. He not only was very professional, he went above and beyond making sure I was satisfied and the unit was operational. He went over the problem, solution and even advice on yearly maintenence. This place is way below average. A LOT better places out there. I called to ask a few questions and I think it was with Slavic that I spoke with. I had never been treated so roughly in my life. no phone courtesy at all AND could not even answer simple fitness questions, in the end they hung up on me. I manage a hotel that has a decent size fitness center. After about 6 years we began having issues with some of our equipment. Our maintenance manager was really not familiar with the proper care and preventative maintenance required. Mike from Califitness had reached out to me in the past regarding their services and honestly I never thought we would need them. I decided to call them at this point and Phil came out to give us a quote. He was extremely professional and right away I could tell he knew what he was doing. He was able to fix our elliptical on the spot and gave me a full diagnostic of our treadmill. He even gave me a free diagnostic of our other equipment in case that needed some work as well. I found Cali Fitness through a local fitness hardware retailer. I called them and was pleased to talk to a live agent which is always a good thing. They scheduled me for immediate technician dispatch for a health check on my elliptical machine. The service call was quick and clean and the staff was courteous.
