He took the time to explain the treatment options and pros/cons for each while allowing me to ask questions and explaining it at my own pace. The treatment he provided ended up greatly reducing the severity of my neck pain and the treatment has sustained for months since my last visit. He's very knowledgeable in the field and provided relatable analogies for my issue. I would recommend him to anyone seeking neck-pain, especially muscle related issues.

In order to do this, I sought out Justin for relief of my left hip and discs in my entire lumbar spine bulging and being compressed. Throughout the years, I have utilized nontraditional modalities like massage, acupuncture, dietary, and chiropractic. Unfortunately, at present, the structural integrity of my spine has degraded due to ankylosing spondylosis (Spinal arthritis), so these strategies are no longer viable...but are still pursued. ...Because I am avoiding the pharmaceutical (e.g., cortisone shots) and invasive techniques of Western medicine. Justin provided PRP treatment of my lumbar spine and left hip. It has been 6 months since the initial injections. The pain in my lumbar spine is gone. The discomfort of the areas injected in my hip have disappeared. As a provider of Regenerative Medicine, Justin is "The bomb!" His knowledge of the exact sites to inject was spot on. He listened to my explanation of the movements resulting in pain and was able to triangulate the best areas to inject. Justin reaffirmed my belief in the effectiveness of Regenerative Medicine. If there were more practitioners for this type of medicine like Justin (who listen to their patients with an open mind), HMOs and insurance carriers would be more accepting and willing to provide authorization for Regenerative Medicine. So YES, in short, I highly recommend visiting Justin for your Regenerative Medicine needs. If you have read my entire testimony, you will appreciate speaking with Justin even more.

On my initial visit the front desk staff checked me in quickly and provided the required paperwork. The facility and examination rooms are clean, modern and up to date. I was seen on time by a very professional medical staff and I was impressed by each and every person I interacted with. It was a pleasure to be taken care of in such a professional manner and I highly recommend this medical group.

Both my…read morehusband and I are medical professionals ourselves so we try to be as low maintenance as possible being we know how busy it can get. So was very disappointed when simple, basic standards of care were not met on several occasions by his rude office staff. 9 out of 10 times you will be placed on hold when calling, not even a friendly voice asking if they can put you on hold, just sound of someone picking up and then sending you to hold music. Was literally on hold for 23 minutes with no live person attempting to check in. Another issue was labs, bloodwork. They will always try to get you to have them drawn in office to make more money and convenient for them. If you draw outside at different lab due to your ins, then you can forget about getting the results from them. I had to keep calling week after week to remind and follow up. Never did I get call back from Dr, instead they made me make an appointment to come in and see the doctor after weeks of waiting just to tell me that all was normal?! Then on separate visit I waited over an hour to be called Back in when I had an appointment. Never made a fuss, understood things happen. What's not right is the double standard when I was a little late to my appointment due to an emergency. Was nowhere near an hour late like they've kept me waiting on numerous occasions. Yet they will automatically turn you away if you're 16 min late and reschedule you 3 weeks away. No empathy shown, no medical questions asked to see why you even need to see the Dr, or what it took for the patient to get there. Asked if the Dr or NP can see in between other patients or wait to see if someone didn't show, and even that wasn't allowed. The receptionist refused to even ask or relay message to Dr. Stated they were "busy" and started offering dates minimum 3 weeks away! Have never witnessed such callous actions from a medical office. Basic, simple standards of care we should expect from our providers are; -getting thru to a live person without first being on hold for 22 minutes -a Dr who cares, remembers you and follows up on your lab work instead of you having to chase down results yourself. - Being able to leave a message for your doctor and get a call back. -an office staff that treats you like a patient vs a number or inconvenience. Really wanted to like this place and Dr, but the negative experiences have much outweighed any positives. Not that they care, but my husband and I will be looking for new provider. As medical professionals we DO NOT recommend this place.

I initially signed up at the Century City office and then transitioned to the Glendale office after it opened. The offices are nice, and every employee I've ever dealt with has been very kind. The medical assistants who draw blood are always very good. But really that's about all you should expect to get from your membership fee. Don't expect to get to the front of any line, see any doctor quickly, for them to bend over backwards for you, to be more flexible with prescriptions, or anything else their marketing might indicate. Even though I've been with them for *6 years*, they still treat me like I'm some random person off the street every time I need something, which is rare. Depending upon the office, it can be impossible to schedule any appointments in the app -- literally no times show up and it says "sorry, we're having trouble finding available appointments". So then you have to message them, and "they will get back to you". Don't expect them to -- you'll have to bug them just like any other doctor's office. I have no idea if the few actual doctors I've seen even still work for Forward. I have no idea who my primary care doctor actually is or what his/her phone number is. When I see a specialist, I have no idea what to put down other than "Forward health" with a 1-800 number that I can find on the Internet. In summary, I've come to the conclusion that it's a complete waste of money. You can get faster blood draw appointments by going to Quest or Labcorp directly (where Forward sends your blood anyway), and you can go to the end of the line at every other doctor on the planet. If you have an urgent request, they will just tell you to go to urgent care. What's the point? Save your money! I wish I did.

Not to mention the Health Coach and the Doctor were often saying completely different things, so there is not congruent communication between these two parties. Also, this company makes NO effort to proactively communicate with you. Meaning, if you were to sign up for a year and not reach out to set up appointments, they would take your money and offer no refund or grace even though they rendered ZERO services. And it is NOT EASY to make those appointments. His doctors (because he has many) were sometimes booked out a month and a half or only available for tiny windows within a week. They refused to give us a refund after they auto-renewed our account after a year. When the doctor said it was our last appointment, I assumed we were done. However, they continued to bill us for 3 months before I noticed what was happening. I was told repeatedly that they have a strict no-refund policy. Even though they have made NO effort to contact us. No communication alerting us to this renewal. No attempts to schedule new appointments. I find this unethical. Unfair. If the services themselves were phenomenal, I would at least give 3 stars. But for mediocre, and often disjointed services, on top of their dishonorable business practices, I say JUST GO TO A LOCAL FUNCTIONAL MEDICAL DOCTOR NEAR YOU!

I had been watching Parsley Health for a couple of years, and in April, I decided to get an annual…read moremembership. I was drawn to their holistic, functional approach to medicine. I also liked the idea of having a team of support, including a doctor and health coach, working together to help me live an optimal life. I'm also very keen on technology and supporting efforts to use technology in innovative ways. Let's just say: The reality of Parsley Health is much different than the painted vision of Parsley Health. To summarize: My doctor and health coach were nice, but I could sense their boredom and exhaustion with one Zoom call after another day after day. Also, Parsley's scheduling and use of technology truly sucks. The Parsley Health model may work for some, but it didn't work for me. I canceled my membership in July. If interested, I've shared some details below that led to my decision. RECEIPTS. I paid for the annual membership (~$2K). I expected to receive a receipt soon thereafter. I never received one. When I asked for one, they said that they were happy to provide a receipt after every doctor visit for ~$400 ($2K total/5 visits). That way, the doctor could provide relevant diagnostic codes for insurance/FSA purposes. When I asked for receipts for my first 2 doctor visits, I was literally shocked at the diagnostic codes my doctor noted. Not only did the codes not apply to me, but it's also nothing we ever discussed. When I asked the doctor about it, her attitude was, "Don't worry. It won't impact your insurance." Excuse me. SCHEDULING. I don't know if it's the doctor/health coach combo I picked, but trying to get a Zoom call scheduled at a decent hour was next to impossible. My first doctor visit was at 5AM PT. If I hadn't taken that slot, the next available appointment was 2 months later. If you live on the West coast, good luck. At one point, I got an email from a Parsley Health employee who wanted me to schedule a 30-min appointment with her to discuss my experience so far. I don't know if everyone got this invitation because when I went to schedule on her online calendar, she had no openings for the next 4 months. I just deleted the email. BLOODWORK. One thing I really liked - or so I thought - was the comprehensive lab work they have you do after your first appointment with your doctor. They tell you it's fine to break into two lab appointments, but I opted to do it all in one visit. Why not just get it done? The lab ended up taking 17 vials of blood. They took all they could out of one arm - 14 vials - then poked the other arm to get the other 3. All I can say is I was glad someone drove me. LAB RESULTS. The most enlightening, new piece of information I got from all the bloodwork is that I have very high lipoprotein (a) levels, which means I have a high risk of heart disease and stroke. I had never heard of lipoprotein (a) before. Through my research, I learned that it's genetic and it's something you can't really fix. When I reviewed these results with my doctor, she was not concerned at all nor did she offer any suggestions on how to mitigate or lessen the blow of this discovery. OTHER TESTS. Not once did we ever discuss getting regular mammograms or colonoscopies. That shocked me. When I looked into scheduling my own tests, the facilities I looked into wanted to send the results to my primary care doctor, which was Parsley Health. However, Parsley isn't into having you upload results from external sources. Like I said, I've canceled my annual membership (without a refund). This experience has reminded me of one of those commercials where the actor says, "I'm not a real doctor, but I play one on TV." Parsley's version is: "I may be a real doctor, and I play one on Zoom." I've scheduled an appointment with my traditional primary care doctor from a few years back, who, I might add, will be happy to review all my results from Parsley and guide me accordingly. She'll also kick my butt and tell me to get a mammogram. Let the good times roll.
