What I did find was an adult hip hop dance class. It fit perfectly with my work schedule, so I took the plunge and signed up! This class has been such a wonderful gift in my life. Maddie is a brilliantly creative choreographer, a gifted dancer, and a very patient and upbeat teacher (at 25 years old!). The routines are a blast to learn, and every single class is so fun!! Sadly, they're coming to a close for the summer, but will resume in the fall. I'll be counting the days!! Lana is so kind, and she is often at the studio late at night working hard (cleaning, sorting costumes, etc). We are so lucky to have this wonderful dance studio in our town!!

From the very first Zoom call, Leo went above and beyond to understand the vibe we wanted and made the entire planning process so seamless and stress-free. He genuinely cared about our vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made us feel confident that our day would be perfect. Lupe, our DJ, was absolutely phenomenal. He had everyone dancing all night, reading the room perfectly, and keeping the energy nonstop. Every song was perfectly timed, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing he was. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the night. We also added the 360 photo booth (highly recommend!), the multimedia booth, and the smoke/cloud effect for our first dance--and these were some of the best decisions we made. The booths were a huge hit with our guests, and the smoke effect during our first dance was just magical--it made the moment feel cinematic and unforgettable. Elia, Leo's wife and our photobooth attendant, was phenomenal as well. She was warm, sweet, and made everyone feel comfortable while helping guests get the best shots. I even ran into her at my cousin's wedding six months later, and she was just as kind and engaging as she had been at our wedding, which really shows the character and dedication of the team. On top of everything, Leo surprised us with beautifully edited highlight videos of our wedding. This was completely unexpected and such a thoughtful gift--it captured all the energy, emotion, and joy of the day in a way we will treasure forever. Our guests are still talking about how professional, talented, and fun every member of Leo's team was. From setup to performance, everything was seamless, polished, and executed with so much care. She is currently in the 5-8 yo hip hop class with Savanna and 5-8 yo ballet class with Janell, and again....she absolutely LOVES it. All the teachers are really nice, welcoming, and skilled, which gives all the students the opportunity to fully enhance and develop with each concentration of dance offered. Studio Three offers tap, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, jazz and ballroom dance for both kids and adults. There are two dance floors and a newly renovated area for the dancers, fully equipped with cubbies for their bags, and an area for dancers to do their homework if they have long days at the studio. My daughter has only been here for a year, but I have to say that she looks forward to dance class every single week. Traci, Studio Three's owner, is such an awesome person....very approachable and very down to earth, and is always looking out for the students' and parents' best interest. He and his wife worked as a team (two for the price of one); I loved his voice, loved every single song, loved his ability to attract everyone onto to the dance floor (until the last song). Beginning with a few months before the wedding, he came out and walked the venue with us to understand where he'd be set up, the acoustics, etc. He was able to provide two sound systems - one for the ceremony that was in a redwood grove (including microphones and plugs for our friends who were playing acoustic guitars) and a separate one for the reception area. After that, we had multiple email exchanges and phone calls to talk through music preferences. His wife Christie helped out as well and she was fantastic! During the wedding, Eric and Christie came to our rehearsal to double check everything and then the day of the wedding went great. My now husband I were both so thrilled about how the day turned out. The dance floor was SO much fun and we loved the way Eric emceed the event. We really appreciate everything he did - from showing up at the rehearsal to making sure everything went smoothly to playing music an extra half hour at the end of the night when no one wanted to stop dancing. If I have any future DJ needs, I will go with Eric without a doubt and will continue to recommend him to anyone else, too!
