The artist who came out was named Jungle Jeff, and the kids were screaming with laughter the entire time. They also had excellent reviews (I really rely on reviews when picking a new vendor for the first time). We are so grateful for Joe & Happy Bright Kids. They offer to record the entire zoom party for you and at the end surprised me with a nicely edited video of the event for me to keep and even share with the family & friends who missed the event. We booked Jungle Joe for a virtual show for my son's 6th birthday and it was EVERYTHING we could hope for in these strange socially-distanced times! Joe made it really easy to book and setup the time, and love the fact that I could invite as many kids as my son wanted (100 callers maximum made it easy to not worry who could come). Jungle Joe KILLED it - he left the kids unmuted so you could hear their oodles of laughter, but had command of the "room" so that it never felt chaotic or out of control. It was amazing to see both my son laughing so hard that he was doubled-over, and to look at the gallery view of the kids just in stitches. The humor is slapstick-y and good-natured - perfect for the 5-7 year-old set. The ventriloquism made the puppets come to life, and the magic was easy to follow-along. He also made it interactive - calling on the birthday boy, inviting kids to shout-out answers, so you didn't just feel like it was passive "screen time". Multiple parents told me afterwards that "I have never seen my kid laugh so hard" and kids themselves even told us how much they loved Jungle Joe and thought he was so good. It's so lovely for these kids to have a moment of levity (virtually!) in these dark times that was so genuine. We asked for a custom 45-minute show, for $145 - I totally felt it was worth it since the time flew by and the kids were having so much fun. We also got to stay in the virtual room after to say our goodbyes to friends. Would totally book Happy Bright Kids in a heartbeat in the future! You won't regret it. read more

If I could, I would give Jungle Joe 10 stars. I did a lot of research and reached out to quite a number of performers to put on a puppet show for the joint fourth birthday party my daughter had with another child. Jungle Joe's price point was excellent for what you get in comparison, and based on his reviews here, I decided to book him. From the beginning, he lived up to every rave review. He was quick to reply, thoughtful, and caring in our communications. He made the planning process so easy. As for the event itself, it was held in a public playground and his set-up was very straightforward and something he handled entirely on his own. And the performance- he couldn't have done a more incredible job! The party was nearly a month ago, and the children who attended are STILL talking about him! He gets the humor of four-year-olds perfectly, and the kids were literally falling over with laughter. In fact, the grown-ups didn't really watch the performance because they were so delighted watching their children have some of the biggest laughs of their lives. Not only was the performance outstanding, but Jungle Joe managed the young crowd flawlessly. Several times, an audience member would get so excited that he or she would rush up, or jump up when it was another child's time to interact with a puppet. Each time, Jungle Joe didn't miss a beat and very kindly  but firmly got the child to sit down so that there would be no disruption to the show. I was also blown away by Jungle Joe's sensitivity and ability to read different children's needs. My daughter was very eager to participate in the show, but the other birthday child was very shy and strongly preferred staying in the audience. Jungle Joe figured that out immediately, and both birthday children got the treatment that made them feel the most comfortable and celebrated. Afterward, the children were overjoyed with the show nearly all the adults asked me where I found Jungle Joe!
