I had hair extensions done here, and unfortunately, it turned into a very unpleasant experience. The extensions were attached so tightly to my scalp that I could barely sleep for an entire week. During the following month and a half, I was constantly losing hair and capsules, there was literally hair everywhere in my home. Something was clearly wrong with the capsules or the application. They kept shedding, and even one of the staff members told me to be very careful with the capsules because they were falling out. The salon administration did try to contact me and resolve the situation, and I appreciate that. However, by that point I had already left Istanbul, so there was not much they could actually do. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. When I returned to have my hair done again about a month later, the capsules were sticking out everywhere and were extremely visible. The extensions looked poorly applied and very unnatural. What upset me even more was the quality of the hair. I was repeatedly asked to wait, I was told to come back later several times, and after the appointment, the hair I received looked completely different from what I had originally had. It was very dry, reddish and felt like straw. Later, at another salon where I had previously had my extensions done, we compared the hair and my before-and-after photos. The hair quality was clearly very different from my original extensions, and I was told that it did not appear to be the same hair I had before, or that it had been mixed with other hair. I paid a significant amount for this service and expected professional work and good-quality hair. Instead, I ended up with damaged hair, constantly falling capsules and extensions that looked very different from what I had expected. I'm sharing this review simply because I wish someone had given me a realistic warning before my appointment. Please do your research carefully and, if you decide to go here, make sure you are completely sure about the hair quality and the application before proceeding.

It was very hard for me to not go there anymore, since I had been a customer since I was a little kid. However, a few months later, I happily found out, that 4 friends (hence 4A which stands for 4 Arkadas) who once worked at Hair Planet, had opened their own place. This of course divided the customers between the two places and those who were not pleased at the other place, started coming here, including me. To a woman, her hair is her asset, so it is very important who you trust with your hair. Sahan, one of the partners, has been doing my hair (dying and blow-drying) for years and therefore knows its structure better than I do. Senay, the make-up artist, also moved here along with great manicurists. Happy Céline started coming to this beautiful salon 1-2 a week when she lived here. The salon offers a wide array of treatments: hair styling (coloring, cutting, hair botox, etc.), manicure & pedicure, Solarium, waxing, eye-brow plucking, make-up, and and and. The newest trend, I hear, is to get little feather clips in your hair, which stick like hair extensions do, and who am I to not follow the trend? See for yourself in the photos... The saddest part of my move back to Germany, was not being able to be pampered at this place. Therefore, every time I come to visit, I make sure to book an appointment and get everything done, before coming back to Frankfurt again. Anyone who lives in the area or is looking for a great salon in Istanbul, should definitely come here. I got a keratin blow out and it was by far the most hurtful painful experience with sores on my scalp and the owner was pulling my hair I kept saying ouch and she kept going she burned my ears, neck and scalp. It was terrible 2 hours of pain. My head is still sore a week later and my hair has a terrible smell to it like burnt smell that I can't get rid of. I was completely scammed paid 250.00 USA dollars! I have sores inside my scalp meaning my scalp was bleeding! I will never recommend this salon to anyone and definitely not tourist! I also noticed something very interesting.. the bottle of Brazilian blowout was empty and I saw the guy go back refill it with something and put it back on the shelf whatever they are using is not the real product! Edit review- they sent me a what's up message after posting this saying I made her cry and basically implied they want me to remove this review. This is an honest review and I want people to know that truth and the pain I endured during a blow out.
