I was pleasantly pleased with the care I received for my mani pedi! Walking in I only had to wait maybe five minutes before I was seated. The lady was very nice and went right to work. I did pay for the pedi that included paraffin, not for sure I would do that again as they put a very small amount on part of the foot and only allow possibly 3 minutes to be left on before they take it off. Although the paint job was good. Then I moved to a gentleman who did my mani and he also was very good. So far this is my favorite place in Farmington to go to for mani pedis out of the other three places I had tried. The polish did stay on about two weeks. I was pleased.

Almost 3 years ago I started getting my nails done for the first time in forever. I came into California Nails because the of the location. It was right down from my gym and close the grocery stores. I just wanted to get my nails done for an upcoming vacation, and it was convenient for me because I had errands to run as well! I have never looked back! They are all so kind and professional. I always take a picture of what I would like done and Tracy is my manicurist. She is so fast and she does an amazing job. She and Tina are my favorites for doing designs. Just amazing work. I won't go anyplace else!

I made an appointment for here for my daughter for her birthday while we were going to be up here. The appointment was for 11:30, we arrived at 11:25 with no greeting.. nothing. At 11:50 they finally called her. An hour and 10 minutes later she was done. I walk into the mail shop to help her check out, to my daughter in tears! The nails were so awful I can't believe she was charged $45 for a fill for this. The color isn't even, there's spots without color.. you name it. Don't bother. read more

Been going there for several years now for pedicure since I can't do my own anymore. They do an excellent job, leave there walking on clouds. Will continue to utilize them on a regular basis. I am a 78 year old male. read more

Staff was friendly but I requested a regular manicure and they upcharged me to a gel. Service was very rough and they left my fingers bleeding and I was not impressed with the quality of the nail polish either. read more

Im gonna make this very blunt. I went here on a girls trip with my grandmother to get my nails done and I wanted acrylic and she wanted gel. They ended up doing gel for both (gel is more expensive). When I said something about it they tried negotiating with me saying that this will last longer. It honestly makes me angry that they will try to upcharge you for everything. The quality of the nails were horrible. They were lumpy and not properly shaped. Overall I would not go to this place unless it was a last resort. read more

These people do not speak english except when it comes to money. They cheated my handicap daughter. My daughter said no manicure, just a pedicure. They did it anyway and charged her an extra $10.00 The total for her was $38.00. If you dispute it they act like they don't understand what you are saying. These people have been living in the USA for many years, why don't they learn to speak english! Way overpriced and not nice at all! We will never go back! read more

My friend and I came in for her wedding nails and the acrylics they did were atrocious!! They were crooked and bumpy and not at all what she requested. I was lucky to get May, who did a decent job on my gels though. If you are looking to get acrylics do not go here!!!! read more

For $55, I got a super sloppy mani-pedi. I do not recommend this place & I will not return. Also, the woman who did my nails kept asking inappropriate & random personal questions. An overall negative experience. read more

The first photo is what I originally asked for except with a shine finish instead of matte. In photo 2 you can see that my nails were not uniform shape or straight. They are almost all crooked. In 3 you can see the sparkle coat is a great deal thicker than the other fingers. Lastly in 4 you can see an abrasion on my finger. The technician was very rough with my hands and actually cut me with the nail file. He did not even apologize. Then he put a blue gel on the cut?? I don't know what that was??? Not to mention all the tools didn't look clean at all. Would never go again. So SO bad. read more

I went here yesterday June 27th to get my nails done and I waited over 45 minutes and the man totally ignored me as he took other people and that came in after me and he kept saying come tomorrow morning so I left and went elsewhere which I m glad I did because I found out the last time he did my nails he did it so bad that all you could see and feel was my own nail underneath also he is way too fast on doing the nails now I was going here for a while but now I refuse to i was going here because of the low price but now I go elsewhere and will pay a little more to get my nails done I've also recommend people to California Nails and they've had nothing but complaints about the man who does the nails I went here before and was not happy with the service soo I stopped going for quite a while but I thought I would give it a try and go back well no more I refuse to go back here and like I said I will continue to go elsewhere and pay the little extra as I get my moneys worth elsewhere soo try to avoid going to California Nails there services are crap read more

On a business trip way out of my neighborhood and needed some nail attention BADLY. Prices were fine--$35 for spa pedi + mani. The pedi was fine, but I wouldn't call it "spa." She put some stinky sugar scrub on my shins and quickly rubbed it off. The rest of the pedi was okay; I did have some gnarly calluses she took care of satisfactorily, which is no small "feet" (haha). But the manicure left something to be desired...the nail edges were not smooth and there were different thicknesses/coats in the paint depending on which nail you observed. Plus she did the "sloppy" method where she slopped on the polish and cleaned it off my fingers and cuticles with her nail's edge. But she didn't get it all. :/ It'll do till I get home. Then I'll do them myself. read more

I had a great experience. May was my technician. She was super nice and friendly. I got a spa pedicure and manicure. They did a great job with the dead dry skin and cuticles! I'm from out of town but I'd definitely return next time I find myself in the area! It was also super affordable. I spent $32 total + tip. read more

First time getting a pedi in Farmington. Came here in the morning at 11ish & they were crazy packed. Left & went back at 2pm. People there were very nice. The lady asked me which pedi I wanted, so I got the regular pedi with the callus scrub..which was $23.00 & it was an additional $3.00 for french. $26.00 is a little pricey if you asked me, but she did do an awesome job. She took her time & my toes look great for the summer! ;) read more

I moved in from out of state and was hoping to find the quality salon I am used to. This was not it! The nail tech did not allow adequate time for the wrap to remain on to remove the existing gel polish. She scraped the remaining polish off and then filed my (real) nails away, causing them to split. She rushed through the process and did not allow enough time between coats. The gel polish was chipping off the next day and my nails are having to grow through the splits. I will not go back and I advise everyone to avoid it as well. There has got to be a better salon in this area that uses OPI gel polish, does not sit hands in a bowl of acetone, and provides a manicure that actually takes care of the cuticles. I think it is too much to ask. read more

I went here today to get my nails done for graduation and they were packed! Staff was very friendly and I was out of there by 1120 when my appointment was at 10. The only thing I didn't like was the guy lied to me about the pricing. When I called to make the appointment, I asked how much was a French tip mani and pedi, he said 35 dollars and it ended up being 56 read more

My favorite nail place in town. Always friendly service with quality work. I should caveat that with: I have real nails with zero issues and only get basic mani/pedis with old school polish. For this they are great. I even bring in my own polish which they have no problem applying. They are really quick and you do not need an appointment if you don't mind waiting for 15-30 min. They also have free Wi-Fi which makes the wait tolerable. There is a language barrier so if you are picky you might not get exactly what you ask for. Bring a picture. For the most part you don't need to speak other than to tell them how to shape your nails. They also help you with your shoes and purse. In fact, they even helped me to my car one night when they were closing and my polish wasn't fully set. Yeah, they were totally pushing me out to get home but at least they helped. I know they take credit but I can't remember if you can leave a tip on your card or if you need cash. read more

I went in for a pedicure. The prices were what I expected, which wasn't too bad. The woman who waited on me was nice, but it felt like she was rushing through everything. I know there were other patrons waiting, but I had waited as well. She was very sloppy when applying the polish and did a flower design. I had to have her fix a polish bubble on my toe where she had been too rushed in applying the polish. When I looked closely at the design, it was very sloppy as well. read more
