I was in the Summer Citizens program at USU this summer. I had been in an accident before I came to Utah. I needed massage therapy. I saw that Calista Burbank had many excellent recommendations on yelp. I couldn't agree more. She is extremely skilled, professional, and dedicated to improving her clients well-being. I provide emotional, mental, spiritual, physical direction and awareness through body mapping while providing the tools for you to partake in the healing and release that is available through your faith. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist offering trigger point, Muscle Energy Technique, Swedish, Hot Stone, Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping, Lomi Lomi, Cranial Sacral Therapy and deep tissue for all ages. I also offer basic emotional processing and meridian balancing through Chi Gong, a Chinese Healing art. I know these can be effective and healing for mind, body and spirit. I attended school In Texas which gave me a very specific training in massage therapy as well as body healing. I have moved and practiced in Utah for several years.

Meet the Business Owner: Calista B.

Being raised in a very holistic home, full of wellness in physical, mental and emotional health, I picked up on a lot of very useful habits and tools. Even though I have always known about holistic healing, I had to come to it in my own time and place; to create my own testimony, the importance of it, and how to utilize it to help others. I am grateful for the legacy left behind by my grandmother, as she has instilled many of my healing practices and supplied me with vast library of her notes, books, and research. I have a nutritional, supplemental and herbal background and the vibrational healing forces of what we put into our bodies to utilize as physical healing directives. I am a health and life coach through Vibrant Living Academy. Life feels like it is forever a healing journey. Sometimes its one tool that helps and sometimes its another but always there is healing when we desire to seek it.

This place is right next to Angie's diner and the parking is located in the back. I called on Monday midday and had an appointment for a trim with Deyanira on Wednesday. After my trim and our conversation I decided to book another appointment to get some highlights to hide my grey/white. I was able to make an appointment for Friday and it was nothing but enjoyable. I was a long time customer, loved the nails. However, after 4 years of being a customer and always…read moretipping 20-25%, the owner got mad because I was late 2 times in a row. The only reason I was late was due to massive construction at USU (where I worked, which I warned her of), which you could not predict, and I was only 10 minutes late both times. She claims I was 15+ minutes late but I was not. In any case, she had time to do them, but refused stating she had another customer coming too soon. (She had always done my nails in slightly over an hour, she had time. And she never would've booked someone that quick after me, there wasn't time even if I was on time.) Plus, I rearranged my schedule, often last minute, for her trips and family stuff. This was 2 days before leaving for my 20th anniversary trip to Turks & Caicos, which she knew! No customer loyalty or consideration at all!

Calista Burbank LMT is the preferred licensed massage therapist for many Physical Therapist, Chiropractors and doctors in logan. I was referred to her by my Physical therapist because of her in depth knowledge in different modalities of massage including: Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger point therapy, Muscle Energy technique, Cranial Sacral, Meridians, Chakra balancing, and many others. Not only is she knowledgeable and friendly, she is also a Health coach and understands the complete healing process. She spent time listening to the health issues I had and then we came up with a plan to alleviate stress and pain I have physically and mentally. She is a holistic health practitioner that has lived her entire life abiding by the precepts she teaches. I could not recommend her more highly. Health, Balance and Clarity.
