This place is honestly awesome in so many ways, the feelings of being surrounded by all of these wonderful times that are reasonably priced, employees walking the floor are extremely polite and will help you with any questions or concerns, highly accommodating. They get one star because of their erroneous accusations against me. One visit I had the pleasant chance of looking at one of their many cabinets with jewelry/trinkets, when one of the actual merchant of said case I was physically standing in front of staring. It was not clear to me when he said the cost of the belt was "$14" actually meant the price of $1,400. I agreed to said price in front of an employee who took it out of the case for me, the man was nice and told her to charge me "6" for it. The employee charged me $6.00 for the belt. I had bought other things that day, so I had paid 2/3 of the balance, cash/card. Fast forward 6 days later, I receive a withdrawal for $600.00 on my bank account. I immediately assume fraud and destroy my card, issue to have a new one mailed as one would do. I leave work to physically enter the premise while on the phone with the non emergency number (mind you businesses in Arizona have the right to deny a claim of theft unless if you actually file a police report). Upon entering I am met with an employee Xavier, who flat out tells me he's charged my card because I was well aware of the belt costing me $600.00, treating me as such. To call what he was instigating of me, "unflattering" would be an understatement. The bold assumption that I was aware and would take advantage of a man who took $800 off of the original price, was abhorrent to assume. He said my two options were to accept the charge on my account, or bring the belt back. You can have your belt back, the deliberately callous disrespect was enough for any human with any self worth or decency to clench up, but yes, you may have your belt back. After driving back home to and from the desolate traffic (Broadway and Dobson are in their current state of roadwork) I parked my car at the Quiktrip across the street so I could avoid sitting in my car another 15 minutes in a standstill. I entered with the belt, demanded an apology from Xavier for the hoops I had to jump through only to be met with the equally facetious and sardonic response of, "Oh, because my employee rang the belt up incorrectly? You knew that it was $1,400.00." While proceeding to again repeat his earlier "2 option" speech one would expect from their father. I begrudgingly demanded him to give me the latter option, the refund. Money was back rather quick, but I did forget to mention that I still needed the initial $6.00 that they had charged me for the belt to begin with. Made a call, spoke with Xavier, he was understanding and promised to have a check mailed to me for the money. That I appreciate, he took care of me in that regard. Where do I start!!! The location is hardcore because pulling into their parking lot alone, will make you think that your tires are going to fall off!!! It's in need of repairs and pavement badly!!! I went here to look for the "hat ladies" booth as she's my "go to" whenever, I need any type of hat for special occasions. I didn't realize that her store was inside of this spot but, once I arrived, I still went in since I've never gone before. This place is interesting! It's a mixture of goodwill vs antiques. The front part of the store is goodwill and the back , are all booths that are set up by individual owners. It's fun to browse but some of the booths had an eery feel to them. I need to return to buy a stepping stool that, I seen which is, probably gone by now but, I'm sure I'll find another one there. I suggest stopping in if you're in search of something odd or hard to find elsewhere but drive really slow in the lot or park on the side of the building. read more

I spent 3 hours here today and didn't even walk through all the different vendor spaces! If you visit, give yourself time because you will not want to leave. After GPSing my way to the shop, I was surprised to find that the parking lot had tons of gravel on it. If you care about your car and don't want to kick up gravel, drive carefully! Now, the parking lot is spacious! Plenty of spaces to park, even today (which happens to be a Sunday). The building is well marked and stands alone so it is very easy to find. I didn't realize how spacious this place was until I entered. From the outside it looked large but inside it looked massive even with all the treasures crammed inside. Each vendor has their own space where they sell their goods. Some of the spaces looked so well curated that it didn't feel like I was in a vintage shop with random junk crammed into an area, it felt like I was looking at a bunch of tiny fancy shops. The children's room at the front has a TV airing cartoons. WHAT. I don't know why I became so obsessed with this room, but I was. It was one of the more spacious, open areas. I enjoyed that even though this is vintage stuff, the shop didn't smell like it was a hundred years old. The staff was also friendly. If you love to rummage and hunt for vintage treasures or collectibles, then this place is for you. You could spend many hours looking at every single booth and case. Don't miss some of the little rooms that are not located in the aisles too. There is a lot to see. This antique mall also has an area with a lot of vintage clothing towards the front. There is also a massive selection of Funko Pops for the avid or newbie collector. There are a vast variety of different dealers, some with organized booths, others with overwhelming clutter. Felt a bit dark and claustrophobic in some areas...just a head's up if this gives you anxiety. I observed helpful staff assisting shoppers to take the items to the front making shopping easier with free hands. The staff at checkout were also very friendly and cordial. Restrooms available. Came here with hubby and a gf to check the place out and omg it is massive LIKE 18,000 sf massive. It is definitely a touch different then most of the antique places I have been visiting the part few days. This one has more of a thrifting/ flea market feeling to it. It was so different then the other antique shops I've visited in the area. I'll admit I did get lost for a second in there cause it is so much to look at yℴu can easily spend hours in there to made sure you catch every they have. Top to bottom, to every shelf and every nook and cranny filled with things. They have a consignment area and a sale are with colour letters to tell you the sales discount from 10-75% off racks. There definitely something for every antique lover old or new and even kids. The staff there is very very friendly and funny too. I hope to stop by again if we're in town again. This place is HUGE! But it has a lot to offer and has tons of great things. But be warned, you will need a good amount to search and find something. There just so much stuff. All of it cool to look at and you could get lost in looking at stuff. If you are a collector then this might be a dreamland for you but if you are just looking to pick something up real quick then guess again. If you are trying to consign jewelry here, forget this place. It takes 2 months for to put it out and some of it NEVER appears on the sales floor. They sold a large bag of jewelry for $ 5.00, so I made $2.50. I paid a HECK OF Alot more than $2.50 for this huge bag. Employees express some concern, but it's fake concern.The manager knows about this but still does nothing about it. Just plain LAZY!! read more

Whoa! If you need tchotcke, they have you covered! We stopped in for the first time last week and spent a couple hours browsing everything from vintage clocks to taxidermy. (Yeah, some of that had seen better days...) This is one of those treasure hunting sites, where every booth is packed full of goodies and you really can't see it all at one shot. There's a mix of consignment items on either end and antiques in the center, so you'll find more furniture on the outer edges. I also noticed that they have a ton of Fiestaware in the consignment section for super low prices- lower than I've seen anywhere...so if you use or collect it, you've got to check it out! I'd definitely take time to visit Call It New, it's a great way to spend an afternoon and find that perfect item your space is missing. I'm a huge fan! My husband and I took a trip out to Mesa last week to visit this antique store - and I was happily surprised! I haven't found a place in Arizona since we've lived here (3 years) that is quite like this place (in the best way). It felt like the booths kept going on and on, there is so much to look at and so many deals! Make sure to take your time, and set aside the time to look around. I don't even think we looked at everything but we had a great time. The staff is very friendly as well. I like this store and stop there a few times a month. I have had my own marketplace business and an ETSY store, selling mostly china. They carry a lot of china, but I wonder who is the one who receives the consignments? They state that they take items that are clean, sale ready, structurally and cosmetically in good shape. From what I have seen, there are some that are not clean, and the check-in person is not aware of crazing. This happens when china is stored in extreme temperatures, whether heat or cold. This caused cracks or lines [crazing] on the dishes. Bacteria gets into these cracks and you cannot clean them, and therefore, are not usable. I've purchased a few things recently and there are pieces that were crazed. So, they were of course, no good and money was wasted. I just a few weeks ago, purchased a 6 pack of Churchill Blue Willow Cups and 4 were crazed! Such a waste. The sets are all taped together, so can't check things out, Obviously, the person checking in has no clue about anything with china, except takes the persons word that the items are fine. I will still shop there, but it's a disappointment when you spend good money and it goes down the drain. I won an item at a top quality auction house and I noticed that there was a lot of crazing and they refunded me and stated they would be watching better. read more

People rent out areas, kind of like a flea market, to display and sell their items. I do not recommend consigning anything to this store. When I consigned three framed photos, Call It New, Call It Antique set a sale price far below what it cost me to produce them and did so without any consultation with me. By the time I realized the price it was too late to remove them from the shelves and each time one sold it cost me money. I understand a lot of product comes through the department but the store needs to work with the consignors to come up with a price agreeable to both and if not, give the seller the option to withdraw the items. read more

We went there today with my wife. We stayed two hours and bought a lot of amazing antiques. We will be back for sure. Please be aware that the sellers and not the store set the price.
