I looked on Craigslist for a few minutes, called James, he answered right away and told me he would be able to help me that day, which was a huge relief. He was able to give me an eta once he had his friend Landon on board to assist, and was very communicative with texts and calls. He showed up on time (I believe within two hours of my initial call) and got right to work. They were super professional, affordable, and all around good guys. So i called again, was able to make an appointment for the following Monday at 8 am, because thats the only way the quote was possible. Come Monday i am a total of 10 min late, due to traffic coming from one hour away, and when i arrive, the secretary has no idea that there is even an appointment that morning. She tells me the manager just left 5 min before i arrived, and that because i was late, i will have to wait another hour for her to come back because apparently no one else works there that can look at my truck and give me a quote. The only reason i went... A quote, apparently, is not enough incentive to wait for a customer, or at the least, have another person on standby. I was told by the secretary that the manager had some allergies or something, and that i was late, she was justified in leaving her shop. Being the only manager, and i guess the only worker 45 min after opening on a Monday morning. Is that professional in anyway? I still cant believe how incompetent and inconsiderate these people were of a potential customer. They knew i drove an hour to get there. Unreal.
