    Brad’s Garage Doors - Brad's Garage Doors

    Brad’s Garage Doors

WARNING: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BRAD'S GARAGE DOORS IN PORT NECHES, TEXAS…read more I am sharing my experience so others can be aware. On March 23, 2026, Brad's Garage Doors was hired to repair my garage door after it completely came off the track. A total of $1,300 for repairs, a new garage door opener with remote, and what we were told included new springs and a warranty. According to Brad, he replaced the right-side spring and installed the new opener. We were assured that the work was covered under warranty. Fast forward to June 9, 2026. I attempted to open my garage door, and it would only open a small amount before stopping. I contacted my landlord, who reminded me that the work was under warranty and said he would contact Brad. Brad texted and stated that he would come out that day to inspect the issue. Later that afternoon, my landlord informed me that Brad had already been by and determined that the spring was broken. The problem? No one knocked on my door, rang the doorbell, called, texted, or announced their presence in any way. I had been home all day. When I went to check the garage, I noticed the spring was indeed broken--exactly as Brad had described. I also discovered that the side door to my garage had been left open. At that point, it became clear that someone had entered the property without notifying us. As a mother with children in the home, I find that completely unacceptable. When my landlord questioned Brad about entering the property without notifying anyone, Brad responded, "My bad," and then stated that the repair would cost an additional $300. My landlord reminded him that the work was under warranty and that we had the receipt to prove it. Brad's response was, "I must have typed it wrong. I'm not honoring the warranty." When my landlord explained that he would pursue legal action if the warranty was not honored, Brad hung up the phone. Later, my husband, landlord, and Brad participated in a three-way call to discuss the situation. During that conversation, Brad made an extremely offensive racial slur, stating that he didn't have time for "n****r games." He also made additional remarks to my landlord that were completely unprofessional and inappropriate. This is not how a reputable business operates. We have receipts, photographs, documentation, and witnesses regarding everything that occurred. We fully intend to pursue this matter through the proper legal channels. If you're considering hiring this company, please do your research first. Based on my experience, I found the service unprofessional, the warranty was not honored, my property was accessed without proper notification, and I was subjected to racist and discriminatory language.

Very grateful for the prompt response. Would definitely use them again. And, problem solved.read more

My husband went to Alamo glass to pay the deposit of 160.29. The window finally came and was installed we were pleased with the work and the service men. The remaining balance should have been 161.00 but when they look at the receipt it showed a deposit amount of 121.00 not 160.29 my husband was confused so the service man called the office to try to figure out what happened and he was told that their draw balanced out on the day the deposit was paid then he explained we can go in to speak with Joe so we went to Alamo glass to speak with Joe but he had the same story my husband explained to him that he was told that a deposit of 160.29 had to be paid for the window to be ordered Joe then said "well we don't require people to pay the exact amount" and continued to say it was nothing he could do he didn't even try to meet us half way on this issue he just brush us off very very very poor customer service. We ended up paying 200.29 so we loss 40.00 and the lady that took the payment of 200.29 could barely look at us but this was a lesson learn for us. WE WON'T EVER USE ALAMO GLASS IN GROVES TEXAS AGAIN and WE HAVE LET ALL OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS KNOW NOT TO USE ALAMO GLASS IN GROVES TEXAS.
