It was clear he wasn't going to deliver what he promised on time, so I had to fire him. He expected $3200 for this, roughly twice the fair charge. I should note that this is considered "normal" in Putnam County, TN, which is well-known for it's low standards and good-ol-boy-club business practices. Unless you have strong connections there, it's too risky to do any kind of business with them, especially if it involves legal or political agents.

After that, John Langford's office called in a short amount of time and said that he had the probate papers. Always, he did not disclose his fees from the start. As it turns out, I think he charged too much for the wirk he did.
