Even though she's based on Staten Island, we were able to work out a time to meet up in the city for both drop off and pick up of my items. Throughout the entire process, Michele was amazing. She is incredibly attentive to detail, really cares about producing quality work that would fill her clients with joy, oh, and she happens to be the world's biggest sweetheart. As she worked, she contacted me to show me her progress and when I saw the place cards she made for my husband and me, I totally ugly cried some tears of joy! It was such a beautiful and surreal moment! Her prices are also so incredibly reasonable and transparent! I will definitely be working with her again in the future!

She walked me through some options I hadn't considered (paper quality, color of ink, title, additional flourishes) without being "salesy", and she had a quote to me that evening. Her prices are comparable to other quotes I received, plus packing/shipping. I initially hoped I might be able to pick up the piece in person, but Michele is based in Staten Island and told me this during our first call. I appreciated that Michele was up front about her location, and I was happy to pay the packing/shipping fees. Michele put a lot of care into the packaging--the piece was placed within a cardboard mailer, inside more cardboard, inside a waterproof mailer with "Do Not Bend!" written on it multiple times. I went from contacting Michele on 12/11 to having the piece in hand on 12/17. I highly recommend her!

When she came to meet us, we showed her our invitations and she offered to match our addressing text to the font on the invitations. The cards came out beautifully - people went out of their way to tell us the invitations were the nicest they'd ever received. We also used Bella Scrittura for placecard calligraphy. When we had last-minute additions to the guest list, Therese was able to get the last few placecards to us on time to deliver them to the venue. For each calligraphy project, she sent us proofs to approve before she went ahead with the rest.
