When I was working on Queen Street I always came here for fresh fruit salads, fruit, raw nuts and drinks. It is like a hybrid of a grocer, dairy and a fruit store. You can even buy beer and wine here. These guys also had Marmite in stock long after it had left the shelves of supermarkets so I kept it to myself and came here for my Marmite fix. I also use to buy milk here but at nearly $5 for a two litre bottle, we are talking Parnell prices here. There's a good range of the sort of food available at most dairys but there's some unusual and quirky stuff here too which always made it a pleasure to shop here.

On a more healthy note there is a large fruit bin up the front with the generic apples and bananas and another bin for specials, often 2 for deals which is great for loan burdened students! Just check the expiration dates first. The other great thing is the check out operation, they've got it sorted, the lines get really long (especially between lectures) but the efficient staff and someone to manage the customer line mean transactions go through quicker so you can get munch out of mart quicker.

One of these is Dr. Pepper and cherry Dr. Pepper. If you haven't tried either of these drinks then I strongly suggest that you take a look at your life and change everything about it. The second thing that they sell here are samosas (chicken, vege, and butter chicken); and really cheap samosas too. You'll find them in the pie warmer, and god damn they are good. Their goodness is bolstered by the fact that they are like $1 or something ridiculous. Samosas and Dr. Pepper; that's all anyone ever needs.

She was already visibly upset due to a major emergency with one of our friends and apologised to the (I presume owner) for breaking the bottle. He said "I'll clean it up but you have to pay for it. The bottle doesn't magically break itself", or words to that effect. I calmly pointed out that I had broken a bottle at Caltex once and they forgave it, but he doubled down. It's a fair enough rule, but he could have at least tried to be kind about it. I hope he enjoys the $2.50 because the rest of our convenience shopping will be done at one of the other stores nearby.

Even though she gave me a change (after politely requesting), she was literally acting like she did a biggest favor of life on me.
