Wish there was a few designated stalls for this bakery. Clean store. No dine-in. Lots of items were already sold out but they did still have a good selection. Cashier was very friendly. I tried the blueberry and apple butterscotch scones. Blueberry was 10/10. So moist, soft, and cake-like. Apple one was very bland, could not taste the apple or butterscotch. So happy prices and sign and legible and accurate. If I am ever back in the area I would love to try their Chia Sunflower Flax Sourdough bread and the Cheese bread!

We also tried a garlic stick for around $1 and it was surprisingly tender and VERY fresh! Not too garlicky for the kids, but we enjoyed it so much I should have bought more. Located right on the main road into town this bakery is nestled on the main floor of what appears to be a residential type duplex. Kind of tricky because at first glance it doesn't look like there's a business there. I picked up a couple strawberry rhubarb hand pies (very flaky and so tasty), a few pieces of banana cake with decadent peanut butter icing as well as few pieces of cinnamon roll cake (OMG!). Everything was fresh, tasty and absolutely divine. Every day you can expect a daily soup & sandwich special and the house made baked goods change from day to day. They have cupcakes in the fridge and I also happened to notice that they offer house made ice cream sandwiches!!! YES! The decor oozes country charm and beckons you to cozy up with your homemade lunch or a sweet baked treat. I love the warm & welcoming vibe here and I will absolutely be back to visit with the lovely owner and sample some more goodies!

I was actually at a neighbouring business in this same strip and decided to stop in a grab some donuts for my kids. Very friendly and excellent customer service. They are a new business and you can order ahead for pick up too. They have many different types of pastries, desserts, and drinks too! I will definitely be back to try more things. The price list seems very reasonable for these delicious looking pastries. I asked for a box of 6 of their favourite donuts. My favourite flavours were definitely the s'more and strawberry rhubarb which comes with a baby macaron on top that they also bake in house! They are crueller style donuts so they are light and fluffy, soft, warm, and delicious! So glad I stumbled upon this hidden local gem.

It certainly has a clean feel to it and you can see into the bakery through some glass doors. On the menu everything seemed to be the same price at $17.50 in 2022. I ordered the Lefse Wrap with beef. It was okay. The Lefse itself was quite good but the beef wasn't anything special. Still, it's a nice size and seems to be popular. At first I thought it was expensive but then I discovered that each meal includes dessert. With the dessert included the price seems reasonable. It's not a dessert like pie or anything large like that but any baked goods under the front glass counter is included. I had the Lingonberry chocolate puffs and I got two served with cream. The presentation was beautiful and they were delicious. Service was first rate. The young lady was pleasant, cheerful and seemed to genuinely appreciate our business. Coffee came with refills. This is a destination café and makes for an enjoyable lunch. I recommend it. Oh and they sell lots of Swedish themed gifts from Swedish flags of all sizes to mittens.

Tasted fine but no real seasoning. Bacon was limp and small. Bread was 10/10 so tasty, jam included was great too. Dill pickle soup was 10/10, comes with your choice of bread. Boyfriend chose rye and gave it 10/10 but I didn't like as it had a very strong flavor.
