I have been attending Calvary Chapel, with my wife, for - oh I don't know. I lost track of time when we started coming here. My wife thinks it has been 10 years. IDK. It seems like we have been here forever (in a good way). To quote one of my favorite people "the whole world needs prayer", and we can count on that to be done here. Verse by verse bible study is something that I was not familiar with until we came here. It is pretty hard to beat that method, because it is so life involved, and shows how intricate the word of God is. Steve does a great job with that. I wonder sometimes where he stores all that info. I have personally never heard anyone around here that can come close to it. Side note: going to Israel with him is something that everyone should do. Amazing! I hope we get to do it again! There are always things going on to get involved with, and opportunities to see things from a different perspective. For example, there is the outdoor amphitheater. Sunday summer services that start at 9:00 AM are held out there. There is something special about being outside, in God's creation, going through the Bible. There are all kinds of groups that do different things too. I bought the nicest Christmas tree I have ever seen from the young adults group this year. What a blessing :) There is a Facebook live broadcast on Tuesdays at 3:30? Random Bible questions and are answered there. Good stuff. Oh that reminds me, Wednesday nights are prayer and questions from the audience. A person can ask anything and get an answer. It is also a great time for praying for each other. Godly counsel when we need it, and people that will pray for us. That is hard to beat. In real time, this turns out to be friends that don't look down at us, if and when we get messed up. They are faithful to pray for us, straighten us out, if it is possible, and help us get back up to have another go at this crazy life. read more

Where to start Leadership and this includes Steve and Mitch both are awesome as is all the staff and non staff doing many things from teaching to cleaning the parking lot for wednesday night service . These are people who simply believe in teaching the word of GOD as it is written and letting GOD get it done in the people. No micro management here just believers in JESUS working together.Wednesday nights are very refreshing and a real blessing having question and answer time prayer by the people just good stuff.can't say enough here. The office staff is awesome and the many Ladies who do so much around there with all the events and other day to day things going on. Christian Ethics 9 Love must be without hypocrisy. We have been attending Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities, for the past 6 years. We LOVE this Church! The Pastors are wonderful who Teach Truth, verse by verse, through the Bible each week. They are always pointing people towards Jesus Christ and what it means to have a personal relationship with Him. We are beyond blessed by this Body of Believers who have become our family. We love that Calvary also has a Wednesday and Sunday night service each week, to dig deeper into God's word. The Children's ministry is amazing! The Sunday school teacher's are awesome! They Love teaching the Kid's about Jesus's love for us. Our kids look forward to going to Church every week. The worship music is Great too!! It is a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. This is an amazing place to go. You will not be disappointed. I would recommend this place to anyone. Pastor Steve is a great teacher. When I first visited, I was caught off guard. It was a Sunday night. I wanted to go to a smaller setting. I found the Pastor to be just an "every day" kind of guy. Not trying to schmooze you out of your money. He was answering questions from the congregation, tough questions. I was in awe of his knowledge of the Bible and being able to answer this questions on the spot in front of everyone. If you're looking for a Church that is wanting more members just to add $ to the offering plate...than this is NOT the Church for you. This IS a church that will show you who Jesus is. An awesome, welcoming, church with an emphasis on the Word of God. A place where God is lifted up, and many people are being drawn to Him, (John 12:32) through Sunday and Wednesday services, radio (KBLD 91.7), and television. The teaching is superb and the church body is friendly and supportive. Large, newer property, with a beautiful, grass, outdoor Amphitheater, for services during the spring and summer months. Calvary has been our church home for the past 15 years. We started attending because of the wonderful bible based teaching we were hearing on KBLD 91.7. We have 4 children, so the fantastic children's ministry and youth leaders have been important reasons for us to continue attending. The pastors and the rest of the church staff are very caring and strive to serve as God has called them. Sometimes this includes making tough decisions that aren't always popular, but necessary to represent Christ. My wife, children and I have grown closer to Jesus and encourage anyone else who is looking for a church home to come and check it out! read more

I absolutely LOVE Calvary. Everyone is so welcoming and always ready to give you a great big hug. I have many friends here because of the home fellowship groups I have gotten involved with. I love that such a big church has so many smaller fellowships to get plugged in to. I personally LOVE Steve's heart for everyone who attends, as well as the community. He is always ready to tell someone about Jesus' love for them and is ready to talk to people who need it. My review is completely bias. I work at the church so I definitely have a dog in the race. Truth be told though I started coming when I was in Jr High at the time I thought I knew a ton about the Bible having grown up in church. I was so wrong. I was blown away by how the teaching God's Word verse by verse transformed my life. I am so blessed to have been involved with such a healthy body of believers for so long.
