This has been my church home since the church started in 2011. I came here from another wonderful church because God was clearly calling me to support Pastor Matt in this new ministry. In almost 8 years of being led by them I have found Pastor Matt and his wife April to be full of love, wisdom, and genuine concern for the people who call this church home as well as visitors and outsiders. He teaches very well and is full of energy and love for God which is consistent with his dedication to studying the Bible, but I think what sets him apart is that you can tell that it's rooted in a concern to disciple people and help them get closer to the Lord. He proves it with his time and his prayer and his sacrificial investment in people's lives. I really appreciate the diversity of our church and I think it makes us very strong. We just love each other and we have Jesus in common. People with all kinds of backgrounds and life situations and problems come here and I've seen God work miracles in their lives (including my own) when they are willing to listen, because the leadership here understand the simplicity of just loving people and building a foundation of the Truth of the Bible. In 2010, I rededicated my life to Christ at Calvary Chapel Aurora, when I stood up that day this brother sitting a few rows back took notice of me. Within a few weeks he walked up to me and gave me his name and his number, inviting me to go to have a cup of coffee with him. This brother is the same person that God called out of Virginia to Colorado to plant a Church. I am thankful to my pastor and dear friend, the pastor of Calvary Chapel Cherry Creek and his wonderful family who I have the privilege of also calling my family. He answered the call and is a servant of Jesus who loves the people that God places in his heart. I am a testament of what God has done through Matt in Christ. If you are looking for a place where truth is taught, the people are real (most of us are a mess), the Holy Spirit leads and the love of Christ is present. I thank God all the time for bringing me to Calvary Chapel Cherry Creek. For being a small intimate community, they offer SO many ministry opportunities and Bible studies for everyone and every age. I like the Calvary Chapel way of going verse by verse through the Bible, and Calvary Chapel Cherry Creek doesn't dissapoint. The worship is meaningful and the sermons are spot on. If you really want to grow in your walk with the Lord, this is the place to go. Everyone is encouraging and supportive, and the senior pastor makes a point to greet everyone and is very real and welcoming (even to quiet people like me who normally go unnoticed and stay in the background). The pastor keeps sermons interesting and throws in humor (and sometimes 80's tunes!) that keeps my attention. His heart for others is evident and clear in how he greets everyone with the biggest smile and how he humbly serves the congregation and isn't afraid to do the dirty work that needs to get done. If you are looking for a place to grow and not just hear what you want to hear from the sermon, but rather are challenged to look closely at your walk with the Lord and grow in grace and love, this is the place for you. read more

My family and I have been apart of Calvary Chapel Cherry Creek (C4) for 3 years. After much church hopping we found a home and family with C4. This church comes together as family should, as the body of Christ is called to in every up and down. The love and welcoming spirit when you walk through the doors is so genuine and refreshing. These aren't even the best things about this church. I love that the teachings are verse by verse and the Lord speaks in such a powerful way to convict my heart with every message the Pastor delivers. All the Pastor's truly seek how the Lord would use them and their heart is to step out of the way and let God move. This isn't even to mention the out reaches, children ministries, women's fellowships, bible studies, moving ministries, meal train ministries, the list goes on with how the Lord uses this church mightily to serve its community and inner body who call C4 home. read more

This is our home church and we Love it!!!! My husband, daughters & I have a true family in Christ here. And we also have came to know Jesus in a much intimate way, and growing closer to Him every day. The Lead Pastor & all leaders here are true men of God whom Love Jesus and Love people. Not many Christian churches teach the Truth, or make disciples of Christ, but at C4 the Spiritual Fruit and Love Of Christ is tangible! The main focus here is Jesus, exalt & Glorify Jesus, Preach the gospel, make true disciples of Christ, & DIE TO SELF! Exactly what Jesus called us to do! My husband and myself have been attending Calvary Chapel Cherry Creek for the last three and a half years. We first attended another Calvary Chapel for several years. C4 is an amazing church, they teach verse by verse directly from the Bible. This is done with passion and truth of his word. The pastors and their wives support the members with compassion and love. Within the last 2 months my husband passed away and the love and support from our C4 family has been so comforting to me as I navigate through the loss of my soul mate. This church is truly a large family and I could not imagine life without the support and teaching that I have received from them. C4 has become our home away from home. Pastor Matt and his wife are amazing people. There is so much love at this church. It is an experience unlike any other. You can tell the difference right when you walk in, everyone is friendly and ready to answer questions. The teaching style is verse by verse through the Bible. The fellowship with like minded people is amazing. They also have a lot going on with bible studies, prayer nights, parents night out. My family has been coming to this Church since July 2015. I am so thankful for all the pastors and their wives. The Love they show to everyone so amazing. They really try to make everyone in the congregation feel like the family of God that we are. From the moment you walk in these doors you are greeted and welcomed. We love this place, thankful to God for this place, thankful for all our leadership, thankful for their biblical counsel and guidance. My family and I have been grown so much since coming to this church! They have so many ways for the whole family to plug in. They teach the bible verse by verse, book by book. The children's ministry there is full of loving people that poor into the kids and do a great job. The people at this chutch is more of a family then people you just see at church. This was my first home church as a believer. It is warm and welcoming, a place where you can be part of a family. There are numerous events and opportunities to spend time with others, to be included and encouraged. The word is taught verse by verse, with excitement and truth, and in a way that makes it understandable. If you are looking for a church home, for a family, you will find that here. When achurch gets so big, it doesn't even know you're there then they blame you for not letting them know. If you're not married or popping out kids from your wife, you simply are not welcome. Not sure where their Jesus fits in to all that cause their version of love stinks like vomit. read more
