A week + later I got back high gloss black (slight hint of metallic) with the machined portion painted over - not fractionally similar to the original color, shade and gloss level - and obviously a complete mismatch to the other two wheels in the set. I have a total of 8 wheels of that type, and now I have to find a reputable shop that now has to remove the unprofessional job on these wheels and completely refinish them. It was a complete waste of time, both mine and his. Even worse, when I explained the problems with his work, the owner stomped off and angrily slammed my wheels onto a metal mesh shelf (all while his wife cringed and my teenage son witnessing his tantrum). He didn't refinish the wheels even remotely close to their original finish and pitched an unprofessional fit when I explained what was wrong. I was obviously unhappy but didn't yell or lose my temper, and his response was over the top out of control. I took my wheels and left. For note - I used this same company back in 2021 for a different set of TSW wheels and the work he did was actually quite good back then. Not this time - and whatever is going on in his life right now is preventing him from running a professional business. I can't explain how disappointed I am. I don't know what is driving this business owner's behavior, but it isn't good and I would steer clear of his business. I will personally never use his services again. I attached several pictures. The level of gloss is hard to demonstrate in pictures, but to be sure - the work he did wasn't even close to the original finish and would look terrible and mismatched. He ultimately did not charge me - and I would not have paid him for the work. $200 a wheel is a premium price for wheel repair. I could have achieved 90% of the quality with a rattle can - it was most certainly not worth the price he was asking.

If you have an extended auto warranty, they have experience working with auto warranties. Everything was done between Pro Auto and my Auto Warranty company. I didn't need to get involved much. I live in TN and it was well worth the time to bring my vehicle to Huntsville AL. The staff is friendly and they have great communication. Most important, the work got done correctly the first time. I hope you don't get offended. I hope we don't see each other again, unless I'm getting that check engine light on my vehicle, lol. Thanks

I endured a hit and run which left my back bumper with a dent the size of a football. I'm sure…read moreanyone who has experienced a hit and run, or any type of car accident for that matter, can relate to the anger and frustration I felt. After waiting a few months to save up the money to cover my deductible, I was fortunate enough to be referred to The Body Shop in Decatur, AL.. I mention the frustration and time it took to save the money because it all figures into my expectations for the repair. At that point, I wasn't asking for much more than a legit repair job that would allow me to put this whole thing behind me. What I experienced exceeded my most optimistic expectations. I arrived at The Body Shop, talked with a man named Mr. Murray, and received an estimate within 10 minutes of my arrival. He was very friendly and the estimate was accurate. He worked directly with my insurance company (ALFA) and was nice enough to call me the day of the repairs to ensure I had an understanding of my deductible and what amount I would be responsible for. All of that was great but it's not the reason I got on here to write this positive review. I write this review because of all the extra care they gave my car beyond the dent. I showed up to find my car washed and the insides looking clean (looking better than the day I bought it). The bumper looked amazing but I noticed they had taken the time to repair a portion along the inside of the wheel cover where the plastic cover had previously been bulged out. My rims were cleaned and looked brand new (I had bought this car used and the original owners had let things get pretty rough with the rims. I tried to put some muscle into cleaning them in the past with no luck). All I'm saying is this; getting in an accident is frustrating. The people at The Body Shop in Decatur do it the right way. They treat you right, shoot you straight, and go the extra mile to get your car looking as good as possible. I just couldn't have asked for a better experience.
