Got to the store at 8am for an appointment for service. After sitting in the waiting room for two…read morehours the tech informed the manager that he didn't want to rotate and balance my tires because of the slight cupping on them. I asked if he was saying that these tires with 75% tread left were never to be serviced. He said that rotate and balance wouldn't make them perfect. I said I'm not asking you to make them good as new, I'm want you to do the service and I'll pay for it. About 3 minutes later I hear my truck crank up and see it backed out and I was handed the keys and told to have a nice day. Avoid this location as have the techs don't show up to work, and the ones that do don't want to work if the job is a little tougher than putting tires on a small car.

Lights dimmed then died, the car struggled to keep running. I limped home on a wing and a prayer. This morning I started looking for a shop that would at least do a diagnostic right away so I could figure out my plans for going back to Virginia on Monday. After calling a few shops that wouldn't even let me have the car towed to them I found Hooligan Motorsports. A quick call with Rob and he said he could have a look at it as soon as I could get it there. We both suspected the Alternator and within 20 minutes of having the car dropped off Rob called to tell me that he could have it fixed up same day, and an hour or so after that he called again to say the car was ready to be picked up! On top of helping me out of my sudden problem right away, the cost of repair was surprisingly affordable. I'm truly fortunate to find this shop. Rob is very easy to work with. He was the miracle I needed today, and I have found the local shop where we will be taking our repair needs in the future.

They gave me the quote for around 900 with 4 hours labor at $95/hr. The phone call to start service to pick up call was a 3 hour gap. I was charged for 6 hours and told that software determines the labor charged, not actual labor time. IT'S A VERB. I feel ripped off and lied to. Just be aware that they don't charge on honest time, but rather computer software estimation. I haven't driven much to know if the work is reputable, but sure hope so.

After a couple of phone calls to find a battery and installation, I bought the battery from "The Battery Store" (really great guys there) who steered me to Miller's (right next door) for the installation. Mr. Miller had an open bay and he took me right in and replaced the battery in under 20 minutes. He was efficient, polite and his office lady is friendly and most helpful. I did all the shopping for the part and finding a shop on the phone and set it all up. I will be taking my vehicle back to his shop the next time something is needed.

At 6:45 my husband called AAA back because the tow truck had not arrived yet and they said they dispatched Reliable and will contact them again. We received a call at 7:20 AM from the tow truck driver asking us if we still needed a tow truck.....yeah we are not going anywhere! Tow truck finally showed up at 7:40 AM. This is not the first time this has happened with this company. They didn't show up at all last time. United towing showed up when they were dispatched out from AAA. Reliable is not reliable!
