A gentleman (I'm sorry I did not get his name) helped me unlock a bag and took it to the checkout counter. Once there, Jessica was friendly and helpful. She took the time to look up my Nordstrom rewards and apply them to my purchase. All departments are fully stocked and waiting for bargain shoppers like me. I find Nordstrom Rack prices exceptional for high end merchandise. Their in house brands are comparable and also provide good value. We finally went into the store. My younger daughter (11 years old) was looking around. We finally purchased some items... at the counter the girl who rang us up was curt with us as well. When we exited the store my younger daughter told me that one of the employees (female) had looked at her and said "who F****d up these t-shirts?" Wow!!!!!! horrible and to a child. Good quality, and items you would only find in a boutique, you won't see these brands on sale in a department store. But I felt the SAs were really concentrating on regular customers, who they know. The staff was very friendly but not too friendly (don't love being followed around and asked if I need help by the same 3 people multiple times); they greeted me, gave me space while I was looking around, and made conversation/suggestion at the register when it came time to pay. As a previous sales associate, I understand and appreciate the delicate balance. If I had more money, I would've bought half the store! I felt great leaving with my purchases, it was a very pleasant shopping experience!
