I wasn't sure, but having dealt with a persistent, chronic neck pain for nearly 20 years, and having every other treatment method fail me to some degree, it was time to try something different; something radical. A co-worker recommended Wintzer Acupuncture to me, and I am so very glad he did. From the start, Sara explained the entire process in great detail, as well as setting expectations for each method used, from cupping to massage, to the acupuncture itself, and how each one worked, how it would feel (during AND after), etc. She was friendly, personable, and obviously knowledgeable, guiding me through each phase of our session with clarity and grace. Not only was I impressed with how I felt immediately afterward, I was also similarly "wowed" by how easy and wonderful the whole process turned out to be. The skeptic in me has been utterly eradicated, replaced with someone who, despite being generally anti-pharmaceutical and pro-naturopathic, has truly become convinced of the legitimacy of alternative therapies outside of the umbrella of Big Pharma and Big Medicine. If you are similarly apprehensive about treatments such as acupuncture (as well as chiropractic care, reflexology, and others, for that matter), do yourself a favor and try it out, at least once, because talented therapists like Sara will make an immediate believer out of you.
