It's in a nice little suburb of Marietta and I don't remember there being too many bad kids except for the skaters I started hanging out with in 4th and 5th, and really all they ever did was punch each other and bring porn to school. I imagine nowadays there's 3rd grade heroin addicts and lots of raucous bathroom sex in at least percentage of American schools. I would put East Valley near the top of the list of places I think would last be affected by this. It was a safe, clean, nice school. Not too huge, but that's part of what makes it nice: they don't push 'em through like cattle. You can feel okay about sending your babies here.

I left a couple messages via phone which they deliberately ignored till they ran out of funds 2 weeks later, they ignored me till I called back having the office clerk to hand them my message. Then they finally called me with lies. They said they were as of that morning out of funds....meaning 2 weeks ago they weren't. This school as a whole has pros and cons. Pros are that it's very big, they do have many events…read morethat you can attend throughout the school year, and that they do have some nice staff and teachers. Cons are that many of the kids here are bratty, and most of the teachers have given up on properly punishing them. The teachers usually will just try to get the "bad" kids out of their hair, and ignore any bullying that happens in their classroom. If your child is quiet, this is not the school to go to. They will be bullied by random kids that know nothing about them. A lot of fights happen too, usually so a kid can gain attention because they don't get it at home. Also about half the substitutes are very rude, and yell at the kids the whole time instead of properly teach.

The outside of the campus is nice. There was no full tour of the campus my only experience was the two gyms. The large gym is nice on the inside but the bleachers really need to be replaced. The majority were cracked and since it was not crowded there were a few places to sit that wasn't cracked. I must say there are several entrances but they only had the top entrance open...I'm thinking to ensure payment. The bad thing is if there are older ppl in attendance (such as my grandma) then that would have been a problem (she didn't come to that particular game). Anyway, for some reason we always got booked to play in the auxiliary gym and it's always hot. My recommendation is to wear tank tops and shorts due to the lack of air conditioning. The size of the gym was just right to yell at the players abs the referees (who of course cheated). Overall, three stars still stand

Giles the principle barely even spoke to my mom, and his punishments are more inconsistent than the weather in georgia. I've never had prior record and the items i had called for a 10 day suspension and i got a year. I would just like to add the teachers do not care what so ever on if you are struggling or not, they just make sure they don't look bad, the school is filthy & the food has bugs. Any parent looking to find a perfect highschool for their child i suggest keep looking else where because even if you're kid is just in the bathroom, if another kid is vaping, they'll get in trouble too!
