Cannot rate this guest house highly enough. We stayed here over Christmas a few years ago, and received an incredibly warm welcome from these wonderful hosts. Their help started even before we arrived, as they were kind enough to do some research into where we could get a decent Christmas dinner from, and they were also able to give us lots of useful local knowledge. The real highlight though, was seeing the platypus swimming in the creek in the garden, it would be worth staying for this possible opportunity alone. The room was comfortable, and there is a guest lounge available, complete with log fire if you want it. The location can't be better, so close to the beautiful forests of Southern Tasmania, and this is a brilliant place to explore it from. read more
