I been going to Camden Nail spa for 5 years now and they have always been nothing but professional. The prices are more then fair if you don't believe me then go to Columbia or Lexington. My own granddaugher that lives in Lexington rather go to Camden Nail spa then in her own home town. I have never had any issues and they listen to my concerns and needs. People are so quick to give bad reviews before talking to the owner if they have concerns. He also overcharged me for a service that I didn't ask, and they don't do since he broke multiple of my natural nails he had to do structure gel and made up a price point for it, which was obviously the most expensive. I'm glad I didn't let the negative reviews scare me off! I had the best experience there. Yes, you will wait awhile, but the service there is excellent. This was my first time given that the salon just opened 3 weeks ago. I had an appointment at 4 and I was immediately welcomed by the friendly staff and noticed how beautiful the salon was! They were pretty busy but I didn't have to wait too long. I believe it was Dang who did my nails and he did a fantastic job. It was very quick, smooth, and precise. I had a similar experience before but chalked it up to Covid. Had I paid attention to the flags instead of always believing the best in people, I would have never gone back. I don't believe that people are racist initially, some people are just a$$holes. Today I arrived at the nail shop about 11:00. A mom and her daughter (white) arrived after me and a couple of more white clients. The black girl that works there looked me in my face and serviced the white clients. Told them it would be a 30 minute wait and then came back and gave them the color wheel. It was only after I made eye contact with her and smirked that she brought me the color palette or wheel, whatever you would like to call it. About 11:10, I was asked whether I wanted my nails or pedicure done first, said it didn't matter so she use the drill to remove the gel and as she was about to wrap my nails she got called somewhere else. Then the owners young daughter came over and put the foil on my nails. I think she is about 12 or 13 (is there a law for that?). I sat patiently watching Stranger Things. Almost an hour later I watched as people that came after me (all white) was getting serviced. So I asked, "Did y'all forget about me because people coming after me is getting serviced before me". They all looked confused and not one person responded. I looked for the girl to remove the gloves from my hands and she came. I asked what was the charge for that and she said nothing. I said oh okay, because I am leaving. Acetone stayed on my nails for an hour. Think they want your kind in there, you're wrong! read more

Since this spa has opened myself and my family have been coming here. Every time we come we get greeted nicely asked if we want something to drink. Depending on how many people is inside there might be a wait but it's most definitely worth it. Every time they never fail to meet the purpose and if there was a little mishap we said something and it was fixed!! Love David exceptionally! I've been to this location a few times, the service is decent the problem is the wait time. Today I waited an hour and finally just left, prior visits I waited almost 3 hrs (couldn't leave my feet were in water). They continue to take walk-in after walk-in quoting the same 30 minute wait time when folks are sitting with their feet in cold water waiting on a pedi. They need to really review their staffing. I'll patron another salon for a while so they can get it together. In summary, don't waste your day waiting at this place go somewhere else. read more

I just recently switched to this nail salon but today I was over charged from what I was originally priced and when I asked about it nobody could tell me why and kept trying to switch service pricing. I also apparently got a more expensive pedicure than I picked (human error happens) so I didn't say anything because my tech was still good but it didn't make up for the difference in what I was charged. It still shouldn't have been as much as it was. Had I been told that price coming in it would have been fine I don't mind paying for service but I don't like being told one price and then suddenly it changes at check out and nobody can explain why. I took most of these while sitting at the dryer at the front of the store after my nail service, you decide. These are supposedly coffin shaped. I showed them to my nail tech and two other people and they just kept trying to pick the jagged parts off with their fingers, then with a file, then drip cuticle oil all underneath them while I was paying. No one apologized or even really seemed to see why I wouldn't be happy with this. Maybe it's just me! read more

Well prepared for COVID-19. Very nice setting. Only thing I didn't like they rush to do our nails. Me and my friend felt the same way. I ask for a gel polish, the lady rush to do my nails and left me to do someone else nails. Then told someone else to polish my toes. Most nail salon will tell you from the time you sit down either they will be polishing your toes or they will do have someone else. After she started on another person, I'm still sitting she tells me someone else we polish my toes. That was very unprofessional. She should've told me before leaving. Firstly amazing precautions taken for covid-19. Second amazing staff and nails. I took a chance bringing my nana with Alzheimer's here. She gets very anxious when at a new place. We were sat next to each other in the pedicure chairs. When they began, I was first and worried she was going to get upset as all the other nail techs were busy at the time. Instead they made her feel a bit more at ease by checking up on her and letting her feel around with the nail tools. (She needs to know everything) after waiting about 15 minutes (which was perfectly fine as they were busy) the most amazing women came to begin her pedicure. She was so incredibly calm, patient and understanding without ever asking me. When I finished I had to begin my nails and stepped away to the other section. This made it so I couldn't continue translating what sentences my nana was trying to say. I was constantly watching and saw my nana even laughing. When they brought her next to me for her nails I got to see the up close compassion displayed. The entire place showed a level of compassion without ever asking me why she to most might seem off.
