I have to drive several hours to get there, and I would not think of going to anyone else. I have been going there for over 30 years! I have a great fear of dentists and my experience with Dr. Brankin has been marvelous. I have several root canals and teeth pulled. He is very patient and very knowledgeable. He works to save your tooth, and takes the time so you feel no pain, He explains what he is doing as he works on your tooth, and that is comforting to me. I have absolute trust in him, and would highly recommend him to anyone. read more

This is the WORST dental experience I have had. I was referred by my dentist & did not choose this location on my own. I was in need of a root canal & my dentist believed they would do a good job. I went there for my appointment, and was not greeted when I walked in the door. I went to the reception desk where I got a blank stare & they asked for my name, still no greeting. I filled out my paperwork and turned it in, and waited to be called back. 25 minutes after my appointment time, I was called to the back. The woman who I interacted with was very pleasant and polite. We got photos of the tooth they were going to be working on, and the dentist came in the room. The man walked into the room, sat down, and immediately started numbing the entire right side of my mouth. No greeting, no introduction, not even instruction that he was numbing my mouth. He looked in my mouth for approximately one minute before asking me why I want to save the tooth. I explained my reasons, got a blank stare, he got up and left the room. He brought in another dentist, who looked in my mouth for approximately 30 seconds, and said they would not be doing the root canal because it wouldn't last a lifetime. They both walked out of the room, saying nothing. I was walked to the waiting room, and was brought back again to make a payment. I was wondering what the payment was for. $95 for a consultation? For them to look and say no? I don't understand. I was baffled by the attitude and approach by the employees at this establishment. I will never return and I will never refer anyone to this location. I have also told my dentist about this awful experience. Being rude and inconsiderate to your patients isn't a great way to get new patients!! Having manners goes a long way.. read more

The doctors do not care about the welfare of their patients. I had a root canal today, and the novacaine wore off 45 minutes ago. I am in extreme pain and about to pass out. I need medical care, and the doctor whom I called to ask for help still has not called me back. I guess his Friday evening activity is more important than calling a patient who needs help. I am in no position to drive to an immediate care facility without possibly getting into an accident on the way. What kind of doctors are at Camelot Endodontics? The worst :( read more

I had a great experiences. I've paid only what was quoted. My D.D.S. ( HUSSEIN SAHIB, D.D. S.) and nurses bedside manners far exceeded any I've ever met. Super nice and friendly. I never had to wait a long time to be seen and I've waited no more than 5-10 min of scheduled appointment. After my root canal failed through no fault of theirs. They have worked with me to resolve it for free and/or only charging me for supplies. Twice now my he found time to squeeze me in giving up his time to help me out. I will actually miss going there because I actually enjoyed my visits. The ladies are super sweet and easy to talk to HUSSEIN SAHIB, D.D. S. was nothing but courteous and kind and extremely professional and went above and beyond to help me preserve my tooth. I've never met someone so dedicated to his patience and the quality of his work. I have a lot of respect for him and his work ethic. You don't see that to often. read more

If I could give them a zero for review I would have. Scam artists. This was an awful experience. Just look at the other reviews all giving them a "1". After going back to what they said would be a free consultation I was charged $300.00. I called to dispute the charge and they told me they would call me back that week. Three weeks later I had to call myself. They said they looked at another tooth although they never warned me that this would be a 300.00 charge. So apparently free costs 300.00. read more

Not a good experience. Make sure you do your own legwork on whether this company is part of your dental plan. I was referred to them by my regular dentist, who has my insurance card. I assumed that they checked to make sure they were in my insurance plan as they referred me to them....but turns out they are not. When I went for my first "consultation" they took my insurance card and told me I owed $100 at that time for the my balance after insurance. After the first appointment for the work, I again was told an amount that was "my balance after insurance payment". How would they know that if they hadn't already checked with the insurance company? I would not have gotten the work done here had I known I would be paying for the entire thing. Why have dental insurance? So who ends my paying the entire balance.....me of course. Had pulpitis in a tooth with a recent filling. Was visiting Rockford from out of town and they got me in on the same day. Fastest root canal therapy I've ever had. The dental assistant was a bad ass. She kept it moving like clockwork. Nice to see professionals. I usually end up with noobs that are being trained. read more

When you go to Camelot Endodonties of Rockford il. make sure that the total price they quote you to repair your teeth is put doun on paper befor they start. I went there on 04-199-2017 and was quoted that my total cost would be 2 payments of $598.00 for a total cost of $1,195.00. When I went to pay my 2nd payment I was told that it was not $598.00 as it was changed to $3,533.00.Never during my repair work was I told I was going to be charged anything more. So the total that my dental work cost me a total of $4,131.00. Had I known this befor they started I never would have had this work done. Im a senior citizen and have no dental insurance. I will never ever go to this place again. read more

I don't know why the reviews here are so low. I get it that they are very expensive and you pay up front. But this is an insurance issue the Congress should address not Camelot. One thing I will say is I had Kandace Yee for the first time and I was instantly comfortable with here. She was professional, personal, and excellent skills in her profession. I have a deep and long seated phobia of going to the dentist. It become quickly a none existence with her. The dental work I had done there was fantastic, but they make you wait a ridiculous amount of time to be seen. it seems this office has forgotten that our time as patients is just as valuable as theirs. To make matters worse when I had the procedure done I chose to pay the 1/3 of the cost of the procedure. I was told once they got payment from my insurance company they would refund me the difference for the overpayment. I called several weeks later and they said they got the insurance payment and would be issuing a check at the end of the month. I received no check at the end of the month. I even waited a few days into the new month to see if maybe the mail was just taking a little longer. I called the office on Monday to inquire about why I haven't received the check and they had no answer. they said that it should have been mailed because they received the insurance company payment on the 20th of the prior month. They proceeded to tell me they would cut the check at the end of this month, which I told them was unacceptable. I asked them to have the check prepared this week and they agreed, but said it would probably be towards the end of the week and they would call me once the check was ready to be picked up.. I heard nothing all week so I called this morning (Friday) and they said the check would likely be ready early next week. I told them that was unacceptable. I explained what I had been told last month and I also explained what I had been told earlier this week on Monday. They again reminded me of the procedure for them to issue a refund check and how it's not that easy, to which I replied you've had all week to do it why wasn't it done sooner, again they had no answer. I let them know I would come in the office today and sit there until my refund check is handed to me. I'm interested to see how long they make me wait in the office for the check. A part of me hopes it's prepared when I get there but a small part of me hopes it's not so I can sit there and share my experience with all the patients that come in. Again this place does amazing dental work, but the customer service aspect is extremely poor. I don't appreciate being lied to, repeatedly. If you decide to go here for dental work I would do the other payment option of which is putting a credit card on file and letting them charge the card after the insurance paying so you don't have to worry about getting a refund, let alone getting a refund in a timely manner. read more
