I saw Dr Samuel on Tuesday due to having severe tooth pain. She referred me to an endodontist in Rockford. The endodontist she referred me to was great and I booked an appointment for Tuesday for a root canal. Unfortunately, I just found out on Friday after hours that they are not covered under my Medicare plan. If you have ever had severe tooth pain, you know how miserable it is! Don't expect the dentists at Machesney Park Family Dental to be sympathetic about your pain. She refused to call me in anything for pain. I've been in so much pain since last Monday and now I have to wait until this Monday to start all over again, trying to find an endodontist and somebody to help me out of this miserable pain.

Dr Padron, Aziz, Beatriz and all of the GREAT staff at Burch Dental, have taken all my fears away. I'm having work done to repair, replace and restore my smile with absolutely minimal pain. They are funny, reassuring, compassionate and just plain wonderful with me. Any little thing that I experience gets taken care of A S A P!! They will be my dental angels for as long as they will have me. They work like a well oiled machine from scheduling to X-rays, cleaning, education and all financial issues with ease, laughter and grace. You will NOT be disappointed with these people. I took time off work in order to go to my initial exam and hopefully, cleaning. When I got there, I…read morewas informed they could not find my insurance anywhere in the system, I have no idea what their problem is. I ended up not having my appointment, they wanted me to pay cash because they couldn't find my insurance information. I wasn't going to do that. So later in the day when I checked with my employer, they had their insurance agent get directly in touch with me and she had no idea what the problem was. She could find me in the system just fine, and in fact we called Burch Dental jointly to solve the the problem at 12:40 in the afternoon. Their answering service answered, and said they were on lunch from one until 2 o'clock. This was 20 minutes to one, and they didn't answer. evidently they do not take lunch from 1-2, this was 12:40. This is simply too much hassle to get a dentist when there are others that are available without this much inconvenience. I have no idea what their issue is, I'm just going to move on. I cannot recommend after this amount of problems.
