We hired Lena and Kirill as our videographers for our wedding on 9/7/19. Lena was my main contact leading up to our event, and she was absolutely amazing throughout the entire experience. She checked in with me regularly each month and even helped me put my timeline together. On the day-of, she arrived and got straight to work. She remembered everything we had spoken about and had my entire timeline memorized. As my girls and I got ready in my hotel room, she stayed in the background, even going as far as climbing on the kitchen counter to get some great shots! Meanwhile, Kirill was in the boy's room doing the same (though I'm not sure he jumped up on the counter ). She was in contact with the venue coordinator months before, and even took a trip to the venue to scope out locations and get some drone shots (which was great because it was extremely windy on our wedding day and they were unable to fly the drone). She also reached out to my DJ and photographer prior to the wedding to ensure they were all on the same page regarding logistics. They all worked so seamlessly together, it was almost as if they were hired as a team. She has produced numerous videos for my family's and friends' weddings, anniversaries and milestone parties. I couldn't be happier with the final products - the videos that we will cherish for many years to come. As a videographer, Lena brings a truly unique, perceptive vision to her clients. Her impeccable attention to detail, allows her to guide her subjects in a non-pushy, gentle manner. Many of us are not comfortable being in front of the camera. Nevertheless, in the final videos that we received, she was able to make us appear more relaxed, elegant and sometimes even quite glamorous. The first time Camerative delivered a video after our event, we were surprised to see such classy, well-spoken people. Could it really be us? I've worked with numerous videographers in the past, while organizing corporate events. I noticed that they often try to push their own vision on the client, regardless of what you are looking for. What I appreciated about Lena, is that she took the time to listen and understand my wishes (as well as, wishes of some of my family members) and she made the final product based on our needs and requirements. Also, because she has a good eye, she explained to us what will and will not work during the video shoots. Since we are not professional actors or models, it's very helpful to get this kind of guidance. BOTTOM LINE... Pros: Quality - final videos are beautiful and professionally made. Value - the Camerative owner worked with my budget and delivered products that were truly top quality. (For one of our events, we had a very limited budget, but Lena worked around it and still produced a great final result.) Availability - Punctuality is essential in this business. I appreciated that Camerative owner and assistant were always on time and were very quick to respond by phone and email, whenever I needed to reach them. We were on the fence and really did not think we wanted a videographer but hiring Camerative was the best wedding decision we made. Lena & Kiril shot out our Sonoma wedding this September. They were fantastic. Really prompt, professional and friendly. Leading up to the wedding, they were great at communicating and quickly responded to all our inquiries quickly. They arrived early and stayed late. For most of the day, we didn't even know they were filming. We barely noticed them as they stealthily captured all the important moments and the dancing. From the minute we wanted to book them to the day of our wedding and until now, they have been so great to us. Lena was so professional and always kept us up to date with everything in regards to our big day. She basically gave me a stress free plan. Initially, my husband and I didn't want to do a "first look". But Lena informed us that because he and I are both very shy people, it will help us ease our nerves and would make the video more about US rather than everyone else. I chose Lena and Camerative to film my micro-wedding/elopement. Lena was amazing! Once we booked her, she reached out to introduce herself which made me very confident that she was responsive and attentive. I didn't know what to expect, but she checked with us ahead of time if our officiant + the groom could wear a mic during the ceremony for best sound quality.
