It is in the middle of many buildings and I believe it is associated with the church next door( I seen a stair case) so that means no restrooms however plenty of parking and shade . We managed to enjoy the slide and monkey bars . There is some unfortunate writing on the structure . We still appreciated the small location for our toddlers to get some energy out . It got the job done .

On my weekend visit, I was surprised to see a groundskeeper working on a weekend afternoon. He was no slacker. No wonder this place was so neat and tidy.

It's on a very small lot with nothing but a very small playground, a bench, a water fountain, a trash can, and a dog waste center. The play structure only has one ladder, one slide, one small rock wall, a rocking horse, a spinning chair, and two toddler swings. The ground is covered in wood chips. A small walking path leads through the park, from Arbuckle Avenue, to an un-named bike trail segment behind the park, which leads down to Sibley. I originally stumbled upon this park while exploring said bike trail. I would probably not bring a school-age child to this park, since there's not very much to do. The main advantage I can see to this park would be for neighborhood residents who want a place for their toddlers to play in privacy.

What a beautiful place to celebrate a wintery holiday with a steaming hot cup of coffee. This is literally a 15 minute walk from my home. Today, however, it was a 5 minute car drive because the weather was crazy and rain was on the radar. Better safe than sorry. It is a newer El Dorado Hills park located in the lovely Blackstone housing development. It is open to anyone from morning to dusk. I have been reluctant to do a review because I want to keep it all to myself :-) Along with the usual amenities, (restrooms, parking, playground with children's play equipment), it has a wetlands themed walk trail that is so peaceful and relaxing. Of course no one was here on Christmas morning. However; perhaps with a lot of visitors, not so peaceful. It has a feel of being far, far away from the world. Lots of open space. No nearby heavily traveled roads and the visible homes are a good distance away. Amazing views. A summer visit could be pretty hot. So Blackstone Park is going to be perfect for my spring, fall and winter excursions! So jazzed to have it nearby.
