Ok so... I'm glad Camiguin has an airport. Camiguin is one of my favorite Philippine islands. But this airport can be frustrating, if you're not used to PI life.
It is strongly recommended that you check in at least two hours before your flight or the flight may leave early and without you. There is no food inside the airport, or even in the parking lot while we've been there, leaving you to only be able to buy little cookies or chips that cost eight pesos in a sari-sari but 30 pesos in the airport.
The staff will rush you into the airport if you are near the parking lot, looking around for something to eat. They will tell you that it's last call for boarding and then... Once you get inside, the plane isn't even there.
Ok ok, I love the Philippines and Camiguin, especially... the airport could just use a few tweaks. Everything else is amaaaaaazing! I visit over and over.
See ya there! read more
